Wow-fab progress on the weight, mine is going the other way, but I’ve bought healthy food and plan to start afresh tomorrow!
Good result on the finances too, one benefit of lockdown 😁
  • Great progress on the weight loss for both of you, well done!  I got in to some pretty unhealthy habits whilst being at home all the time(literally eating for the sake of eating)  I've cut right back to my old routine, 3 meals a day and a 90cal snack at about 11am.

I too have noticed improvements on the finance side of things thanks to covid19, got to look for the silver linings during these uncertain times.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.  It's been a bit busy today so not as long a monthly report as usual.

but yes - weight is going very well a kilo a week since January.  Nearing 16 and a half stone and maybe under 16 stone for summer - can't do summer without a beach body - which at the start of the year would have been very much like one of those poor stranded whales

money going OK - big extravagance was spending £60 on two bottles of gin just so we got the sanitising gel that the distillers are all offering (although a daily G&T is my lockdown extravagance).  Made up for it today by buying much the same flavours from Lidl for £20.  had a couple of blips last month, but my CC statement for my clear every month card is due tomorrow and will be the lowest  its been all year which means May will be tight, but June should be reasonably comfortable and may be able to accelerate some CC OP on my 0% balances.

literally only seriously overspending on food at the moment - and stuff for small home or craft projects - but mainly spending elbow grease at the moment in the garden
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Congrats on maintaining your weight. I was  doing well but haven't dared weigh myself the last couple of days as I have been indulging! Good that you can declutter your garage and get things sorted. Being outdoors brings a sense of peace and balance I think too.
