Wow-fab progress on the weight, mine is going the other way, but I’ve bought healthy food and plan to start afresh tomorrow!Good result on the finances too, one benefit of lockdown 😁3

Great progress on the weight loss for both of you, well done! I got in to some pretty unhealthy habits whilst being at home all the time(literally eating for the sake of eating) I've cut right back to my old routine, 3 meals a day and a 90cal snack at about 11am.
I too have noticed improvements on the finance side of things thanks to covid19, got to look for the silver linings during these uncertain times.Wobbling my way out of debt one month at a time

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. It's been a bit busy today so not as long a monthly report as usual.
but yes - weight is going very well a kilo a week since January. Nearing 16 and a half stone and maybe under 16 stone for summer - can't do summer without a beach body - which at the start of the year would have been very much like one of those poor stranded whales
money going OK - big extravagance was spending £60 on two bottles of gin just so we got the sanitising gel that the distillers are all offering (although a daily G&T is my lockdown extravagance). Made up for it today by buying much the same flavours from Lidl for £20. had a couple of blips last month, but my CC statement for my clear every month card is due tomorrow and will be the lowest its been all year which means May will be tight, but June should be reasonably comfortable and may be able to accelerate some CC OP on my 0% balances.
literally only seriously overspending on food at the moment - and stuff for small home or craft projects - but mainly spending elbow grease at the moment in the gardenI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

wow 10 days without a post. sorry!! my audience deserves better, although its been very dull here - even when working from home you have deadlines so have been very absorbed in work, but am now on light duties with a bit of time off!.
I have a list of stuff (frogs??) I have fallen behind on so will get to them over the next few days - the bonus is that being busy (buzzy??) as two bees is very frugal.I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

so in other news, weight has stayed level for the last week, which is a real bonus as I have not been sticking strictly to lo-carb while meeting my deadline at work.
our house is otherwise settled in, kids working - and getting lots of overtime as others have to isolate. DD nearly finished her Uni dissertation, and applying for jobs - although god only knows what that will be like
did a little half month analysis, and think I will claim being overdraft neutral in that I did use it, but it was primarily a timing error as I forgot to transfer some money from my personal account (which I use for some bills, but which is always in excess) to the main joint account - but I think I got away again without any stupid tax.
one of my greener volunteering things has been a bit more demanding recently as the weather has got more outside-y so I'm enjoying that, but also motivating me to catch up in my own. Now work has quietened down and the evenings have got longer I can do both. Also with the prospect on the council waste tips reopening shortly, I don't feel so bad about decluttering into the garage.I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Congrats on maintaining your weight. I was doing well but haven't dared weigh myself the last couple of days as I have been indulging! Good that you can declutter your garage and get things sorted. Being outdoors brings a sense of peace and balance I think too.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

final day WFH before the long weekend. looking forward to a break
no plans yet, but probably some chores inside and out and some chill time in the evenings - hope the weather holds. the (grown up) kids got the pool out on Wednesday and enjoying the scorchio lunchtime weather
I might treat myself to a trip to the tip now they have been open for a week or so, and I am assuming all urgent/essential trips have been done. I mean if clearing the garage of black bags (clutter not rubbish) isn't essential what is?I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
