I always think it's character developing when projects need changing.Problem solving. So well done if thats what you have been doing.Much more sense of achievement if it was challenging.

I've been AWOL for a while, I've been helping my mum out clearing my godfathers house. He had no family left bless him, and a long life full of hobbies, so lots to go through. Very emotional too as he and his wife were like an extra set of grandparents for me.
I have taken in a few bits of my godmothers sewing stash- she had a beautiful old cantilever sewing box, and lots of old scissors. I kept a few buttons, but we were both ruthless and passed a lot on to charity.
I managed to take a day to make some cards; I managed 10 complete cards, and 4 part finished ones 71/52. Lots of Christmas cards, some for upcoming birthdays.
I have been working on my knitting some more, but I'm really a novice so it's slow going and hard work!Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

Well, 2 facemasks done. Tried to do a jersey top, but firstly I melted the back neckline with a too-hot iron (had to patch it), then my overlocker suddenly decided not to work then I couldn't get the neckline facing to work. I think it's probably best to leave it.

I’ve managed to whip up another 12 face masks. I can’t keep up with washing and drying them so had to make some more. (I literally take them off between shops and then use a clean one). And let’s face it we’re going to be wearing them for a while yet.Not exactly busting load of stash but it’s something. I have a sewing retreat booked in October which is a massive spend - but I’m not going on any other holiday so I’m seriously looking forward to it. The plan will be two dresses. One is already cut.I will be taking my second sewing machine to be looked at and if it can be fixed it’ll cost £25. But my other one just won’t sew with shirring elastic. So I have to see if the other can be fixed.104 / 400
i don’t think I’m ever making my target But I’ll keep plodding on.

Magical, I make Christmas cards year round- I never feel like making cards in the run up to Christmas with everything else going on, so I always have a stash. Some years I haven't had enough, but I think I have enough this year.
Wraithlady, sounds like it was best to put it to one side and leave it for another day. I have done that with all of my sewing projects at one point 😂

Hello everyone! I have been on a bit of a knitting kick recently, and have made a cardigan/jacket type thing as a Christmas gift, a "Knight's helmet" hat for my brother (complete with face visor thingy) and I'm in the process of making a bobble hat for my Dad's Christmas present. Next on the list is a tea-cosy (already cast on actually) which will be part of a gift for a friend.I've also sewn another 12 face masks which are going to go in the post to my mother on Thursday when I can get to the post office.Hope everyone is keeping wellCxCraft target 2020 - 17/20 projects complete1

Hi everyone,Hope you are all keeping well.
I have spray painted the ginger jars.I like them.It has updated them. They were blue pattern before and now they are gold.I am counting them as they were fiddly and took ages.
I have finished getting all the paint off the chair but I am going to put it back in the loft for a bit cos I am sick of it just hanging about in the kitchen.
I have made and attatched pompoms to two of the hats my Mum made.
I have made 2 hats with pom poms for charity.
I have knitted a little dusky pink cardigan but not sewn it up,neither have I sewn up the Dennis the menace jumper or the nautique jumper.
I have done some clothing alterations and mending.
That is my confesional for the last few weeks.
New total 21
Stash slowly diminishing.
