You're looking for things that aren't there. It isn't there in any capacity in the gearbox thread. You're wanting it to be there but it's not.
I stated a fact. I read this forum (yes forum as in the motoring forum on the MSE message board) more than i post in it and i've seen over the years the general viewpoint amongst many .... that unless you're buying damn near brand new then you get what you deserve. Car has developed a fault? Well what do you expect, it's over 6 months old. You should expect a fault.


That isn't just on my threads by the way. I see it throughout. I don't know why it's like that. Maybe it's middle/upper class people who can afford new cars looking down their noses at mere mortals. It wouldn't be the first time people on here think they're better than others now would it?


I wonder if these people also drive Audi's, Mercs, BMWs etc. Maybe i'm wrong but if not then that really would be the icing on the cake wouldn't it :rotfl:

To summarise what they're saying it's essentially this....


"stop replying to us, but we will reply to you".

As though there's X-amount of them but only 1 of me so that makes them right & i'm wrong? Nope. Actually we're all just as bad like i said. We're all wrong but such is life. For the pure simple reason of they're coming at me with the stance of we will say to you but you can't say to us ... i keep replying. I've never fallen in line with bully boys and i wont start now and this whole 4, 5, 6 of them high fiving each other after every post doesn't do nothing for me i'm afraid



I get the impression these people have a lot of control in their offline lives. They're used to telling people what to do & having people fall in line and then when they encounter a situation where that doesn't happen ... they don't actually know what to do, apart from go round in circles. The whole don't respond to us but we will post at you thing is just beyond ridiculous. Yes i'm well aware it's childish but hey, i hold my hands up & acknowledge the fact. I'm honest. Unlike these lot who try portray they're the model mature member but continue to show they are not.


I'm all for it though, certainly. It's up to them.
