So we will do the circle dance until the end of time? :j0 -
The post didn't need or prompt a reaction. It was a closed statement. But your choice to react is doing exactly what I said, playing into others hands. You are a mere puppet dancing to your masters tune. Now choose to reply or choose to move on. Up to you. But I'm already making judgements of what will happen.;)
A puppet doesn’t have a choice. I do. I choose to respond. The thing is, you lot also then choose to continue responding to my response. You sit there talking about how I should just ignore and move on yet the same obviously applies to you lot as well as me, but you choose not to either.
In the end, we’re all as bad as each other that way but at least I can see it. You lot think you’re sat up on top and it’s all me when it isn’t. You’re also playing a role.
As will be once again shown when you reply to this. Or maybe you’ll decide to have a day off. Time will tell.0 -

Well perhaps it's time for you to stop being selfish and stop pushing threads off-topic by whinging about how everyone is out to get you.0 -

He can't help it, we even get an mention on other boards.0 -
To summarise an answer to your original question, chances are it came from Ireland originally, as did many in that era as there was a significant cost saving to be made.
Personally, i'd list it as per any other Golf GTI but maybe draw attention to it with any prospective buyer just to cover yourself, but not to make a big issue of it (which it isnt).
If you make a big issue of it in the advert buyers will assume the worst.
My 2003 Boxster was an import and thats how i handled it.0 -

Good advice. Thanks for that.

Not true at all.
However I do mention you in other FORUMS on this board.
As for the comment regards me being selfish ... I repeat my earlier post. It takes two to tango but at least I acknowledge the fact, unlike yourselves. Yes I’m replying and you say I don’t have to...but then nobody is forcing you to continue replying to me either.
But you will choose to do so...again & again. So to use your own words, perhaps you should also stop being selfish. Perhaps you should do as one of you suggested and put me on your ignore list if I bother you so much.
Or perhaps you’re addicted to replying to me.0 -

You keep labouring this (incorrect) point.
All of the boards are part of the forums for MSE.
Hence why it is shown at the top as:

You are the one that first hijacks threads with passive aggression. This is not some chicken and egg situation. It's even there in a smaller way in the gearbox thread. You don't need to refer to 'others' in any thread reply. Give your own opinion and leave it at that. You instigate things.0 -
Gord give it a rest for the New Year guys :beer:0
