This seems like a really interesting way to save money. I'd love to go on holiday next year and maybe this way I could save up for the cost. Could you sign me up please.

I have made a start and have managed to get up to day 51 and have saved £13.26, love seeing the coins building up.

Totally agree with you on that one - was also a problem for me the first couple of years I did this challenge. I got round this by putting monthly amounts in the tin so it was mostly notes and just a few odd coins. Much lighter and easier to handle.

Good luck with your saving - it really makes a difference once the festive season descends on us again. Almost stress free :T

rjmachin I'm afriad I don't have the answer but you could try posting in the main DFW Forum. I did find this thread which seems to indicate others have looked for a similar facility and not succeeded unfortunately...

CazzieLT that's annoying regards your bank! I'm with Barclays and I can transfer any amount into my savings - never occurred to me they would limit it - I wonder why they have!

claremylove I must say I'm definitely with you on the physical money - I would not be able to resist temptation, I'm a terrible saver!

I have potted the highest 7 amounts so far - I don't think I'll work backwards throughout the whole year, however I definitely wanted to get some of the higher ones out of the way sooner rather than later!
