I love that you start your week with 3 of my fave things. Exercise, organising and tea (in my case coffee). What a great start to the week.Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay

@savingholmes - I'm enjoying my 5 minute bursts which generally aren't really cleaning but more tidying and organising. I rarely enjoy actual cleaning tasks 😁.
today's burst took more than 5 minutes but I've untangled and tamed the viper's nest of tights. I've got them neatly stored in little ikea canvas boxes and I've been opening the drawer just to admire the wonder of their tidiness.
I swam 28 lengths today but only because I was caught behind Beryl and her golden girls who move in 3 wide formation across the pool talking at great length about tv shows they've watched. In order to get ahead of the procession I had to cut some lengths short so did extra to make up. Beryl and Co continue their tv based chat in the cafe. Today's subject was Robson Green who is held in higher esteem than "that Jerome". Beryl lead an in depth critique of Grantchester and Robson's Extreme Fishing 🤣

@lucielle and @redofromstart - yes indeed Beryl and her golden girls don't get their hair wet.
@Makingabobor2 - they don't exactly swim it's more of a water borne walking and talking convoy.
they are all very sweet ladies and Beryl is definitely the leader of the pack.
we've taken the opportunity to have a few days away and it's so nice to be able to up and go when opportunities arise. We have a super cat care person who provides the level of care and attention that Blackcat demands. An air bnb apartment we have stayed in before was available at a very good rate and so bags packed, fridge contents loaded up and here we are! Because we are such daring travellers we went wild and bought a deluxe (yes deluxe!) lasagne from Lidls for tea with a salad and a bottle of cremant. We've had a walk on the beach and are now hunkered for the evening. Today's shopping came from our grocery pot rather than holiday spends. Possibly creative accounting but it makes sense to me,6 -
How lovely to be able to take off at short notice when there’s a bargain to be had. Enjoy your stay and the deluxe lasagne and cremant 🥂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
