Why did you buy them in the first place? Because an amateur punter on an Internet forum suggested it perhaps?moneyfoolish said:Cam93 said:Held off EVFM luckily!
Currently 36% down at time of writing, although will look to buy Monday once I've cleared off my remaining tesla and NIO.
Going to cut my entire unwrapped portfolio to just ARRW, AMRS and EVFM I think !
You might want to wait until the NASDAQ/Biotech blood bath is over! Those 3 are the only stocks I hold and since I bought them over the last few weeks mine are down 29%, 24% and 59% resp. and going down by the day!
Anyone can see that EVFM is a load of rubbish. I passed comment about EVFM in January when the price was $2.71. It’s now $2.28.The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.0 -

It's down. What's your point? Markets/stocks go up and down. It's not over till the fat lady sings.

There is a little more to the issue than this. EVFM have a promising new product; they spent a fortune on advertising it, and while sales are growing the markets evidently expected more, sooner. They seem to face the risk of running out of money before sales grow sufficiently and so we have the new stock-offering at what some might believe to be a ridiculously low valuation. If this fails then the company might go down: if it succeeds then anything is possible.
All in all, this is the kind of drama that could become a block-buster movie at some point in the future. Anyone with money they don't need would probably do better buying EVFM at this price rather than buying a similarly-priced lottery ticket, if only for the sheer excitement.

There seems to be a lot of dissatisfaction with the CEO at Evofem and, particularly, with her salary. However, the share price did go up 9.36% on Friday and 5.35% of that was in the last 10 mins before the market closed which, I guess, is positive. Whether that is an upward trend remains to be seen!

I suspected it was just temporary. It'll take good news for it to make a significant move. Hopefully not too long.moneyfoolish said:BrockStoker said:Voyager2002 said:Moe_The_Bartender said:

Would you call the recent moves "significant"? It is striking that the current market price is below the offer price for new shares. At least the offerin was fully subscribed so they have another USD30 million with which to keep operating.BrockStoker said:

Do you think bit coin is two much of a gamble then?SonOf said:Biotech funds can double in a year and lose 90% of their value just as quickly. They are right off the scale (in isolation of other investments) and best held in small quantities as part of a balanced portfolio.

Yes. Definitely a false dawn!
