Suggest you google ULEZ signs and look at the images.......then tell us they're not obvious.0

TfL must be having a quiet day with all its staff on here at the moment. :rotfl:0

Typical petulant child attitude of new posters around here. Don't like they answers they get even when they're the correct ones so start with the name calling.

The signs are not obvious, we re traced our route last week, there are two small signs, they do not give full info.
And no, I didn’t check google, or Wikipedia, or NASA or with MI5 or TFL before that journey as on previous times in a different but also road tax exempt car it had never been an issue that we had a noticed or considered as we don’t drive in to London that often.
And yes thank you I can identify safety related traffic signs, traffic lights etc.
If It’s not just a money maker then yes, I agree with a post previous, a letter of notice would be a way of advising the Need to pay but appreciate that is also costly to tfl and of course would prevent them from preying on people they slap PCN on for a first time, one off misdemeanour.
Maybe next time someone runs over and kills a drunk pedestrian that’s stumbled into the road, or a death defying cyclist they can claim the defence of “sorry, I was too busy looking out for a ULEZ sign”0 -
Who has called any one names. ?
If you have nothing productive to say then move on.0 -

These signs are also well lit up at night.
Putting your reg number into the ULEZ site gives a clear "yes you pay" or " you are exempt " (I've used it )Ex forum ambassador

And it's your responsibility to get that further information rather than just driving by and assuming they don't apply to you.The signs are not obvious, we re traced our route last week, there are two small signs, they do not give full info.
So you've passed those signs before. Although this was the first time you were in a vehicle that generated a penalty, it wasn't the first time you'd driven into the ULEZ. Even more reason to wonder what the signs were about and look into it before going in the next time. And no, I didn’t check google, or Wikipedia, or NASA or with MI5 or TFL before that journey as on previous times in a different but also road tax exempt car it had never been an issue that we had a noticed or considered as we don’t drive in to London that often.
How do you know which are safety related and which aren't, if by your own admission you didn't know what the ULEZ signs were? And yes thank you I can identify safety related traffic signs, traffic lights etc.
See above. It wasn't your first time driving into the zone. How many second chances do you want?If It’s not just a money make then yes, I agree with a post previous, a letter of notice would be a way of advising the Ned to pay but appreciate that is also costly to tfl and of course would prevent them from preying on people they slap PCN on for a first time, one off misdemeanour.
Now you're being ridiculous. It's your responsibility to drive safely AND heed all applicable road signs. If you can't manage both simultaneously, you should question whether city driving is a good idea and whether public transport may be a viable (and possibly cheaper) alternative.Maybe next time someone runs over and kills a drunk pedestrian that’s stumbled into the road, or a death defying cyclist they can claim the defence of “sorry, I was too busy looking out for a ULEZ sign”0 -
