last day (for me) today; going in shortly.

Was physically exhausted last night having done kitchen and bathroom after plumbing washer in, plus other stuff so turned in early. Brain wouldn't switch off though.

Have a list of 'last day must dos'. Which is probably why the brain switch off didn't happen until the wee smalls.

YL - as others have said, we're willing to support - please ask.

I've been emailed by a company - in French - and I am very pleased that I can understand almost the whole message! And the Ts&Cs!

passez une belle journee, tout le monde!

(Which I *think* is have a good day, everyone - Mademoiselle?)

  • Hi, All,
I'm interested in Flylady-ing; we've bought a new house and want to keep it clean and tidy, but not all at once. Would someone send me the link to the explanation Flylady post so I can share it with my husband for some inspiration?

    Kerry.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found the link buried in the original post on this thread. :o

    Welcome Kerry.

Dailies are done and I'm just ploughing my way through home admin. Will then have an early lunch, get my physio done and then some flying.

Hi and welcome Kez.. join our crazy busy band of minions! <3

Tesco delivery updated for tomorrow.. I was worried about having the money to pay.. OH is paid on Friday.. then I found £144 of clubcard vultures.. shopping paid for thank you! I forgot I save those all year for this exact reason!

DS1 loading up the WM but I have put the TD on.

I am so incredibly cold today, my feet are numb. I am sat in front of the radiator with a thermal vest and 2 woolly jumpers on under a fleece blanket folded into 4!!.. lose weight they said, it's good for your health they said... well they lied.. I have never been so cold in my entire life, I want to cry!

OH just taken Twinkle to nursery.. there is a concert after school for Squeak and Pixie.. Dot doesn't do things.. she had a hard enough time sat in the church service this morning.. she laid on the floor and flapped her hands and picked her face and chewed her cardigan and hair.. but school don't see any reason to suspect she has ADHD or other asd... are they blind?!?!?!

Boog has trotted off to work again.. he actually seemed to almost enjoy himself yesterday!!!! Apparently an older Romanian man who speaks no english was being messy so they stood him in a box to collect his leaves.. the guy shrugged and carried on working for 4 hours stood in a box he was filling with leaves.. I said it was probably quite warm. Boog is one of 2 English people in the factory they are almost all Polish. Today he has gone wearing green so he can hide in the leaves and pop up like a boog-in-a-box.. see, that's enjoying it! I am hoping payday makes him see it is worth while.

ooh, I have tea.. and it's warm.. wonder when OH sneaked that in.

This afternoons job.. wrapping.. I lost 2 days dealing with DD1 and school stuff and drs.

    Ebeast return chased
Order for my mothers present from my stepdad chased.. yes I do EVERYONES chritsmas shopping.. ooh.. must order photos too. I have a list somewhere.

    Last minute christmas bits..
I need to order batteries.. AA/AAA
    Chair for DS2
    return a coat

next job.. ring D&G and yell at them because I haven't received my refund of installation costs I paid yet.. Over my cold dead corpse are they keeping that.

Piggers, I have additional fat to keep me warm but it's not doing it's job today and I'm not far from you!

Third and final wash load is in the machine. I'm trying to warm up with a cuppa but do need to try and take the dogs for a second walk.

I cannot get warm at all.. I am putting my dressing gown on top of everything else next time I venture from under my blankets. My feet are still numb with cold.

    D&G dealt with.

School will be dealt with later.. after saying I hadn't ordered panto tickets they are now saying I have not paid for cooking club which was paid the day they did the first lesson.. again, they do not do receipts.. I will be asking for them every time from now on .. I was made to pay for Pixies music book twice because they insisted they hadnt had the first payment.. then the viledin teacher gave me it back because he at least had a record of it! And they are saying we did not return 2 pizza trays which were returned yesterday.. how do they lose 2 pizza trays?

tickets got for this evenings concert.. so that will steal todays wrapping time.. tomorrow we have nursery church service at 11am so I might actually get something done then.

Mega flying today as we have dinner guests.
    Checked and emailed a report
    Did 3 flower arrangements
    Lounge/ diner decluttered
    Downstairs all vacuumed
    Meal in slow cooker
Table laid, Xmas serviettes and crackers too
Copious amounts of polishing and dusting by Mr N.
    Bird feeders filled.
Just sitting exhausted with a cuppa.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
It's tough getting rid of the past but it does free up space for the future.

YL sending you hugs and positive thoughts.

Pigpen, can you add the batteries to your Tesco delivery? Well done on remembering your Vouchers, a good find :)

    Evening all

Paid stuff done, not quite so hectic today. At lunch time and after work I...

    Hoovered through ground floor
    Emptied bins
    Shuffled laundry around
    Tidied bedroom
Popped out and bought last couple of gifts for DH, will wrap them tomorrow when he is out

Have a good evening all, I’m going to read, watch tv and maybe a bit of knitting x
  • Hello all! Not much flying today as feeling a bit poorly....caught hubby’s man flu, yuk.
I have however........caught up on the ironing!!!!!
Am tucked in bed with a hot chocolate and medicine from a box hoping this will blast the bugs away.
Traffic earlier was awful, raining heavily, dodgems round roundabouts and I was a nervous wreck by the time I picked up oH.
    Be safe all x
