YL.. Please remember where we are if you need any of us or all of us.. we are right here any time. I truly hope his recovery is swift and forever but I know you are worried half silly.. You won't bring us down in our christmas prep.. have you seen my nutty life at the moment and what I have put here is the better half! Share with us if it helps you get it off your chest and process.. we are here to listen and support and regardless of what we have going on in our lives we still care about you and yours!! Hugest of hugs and if you need us.. we are here, even on christmas day.. we are here! xxxxx

Not heard from MIL about SFIL.. assuming no news is good news..
DD1 is still in a state.. lots and lots and lots going on there.
DS1 still in my back room
Boog braved work a second day.. we are looking for an alternative job but for now we will take what he is getting and I am praising him like he is 5 and trying to give him ways to challenge the behaviours against him.. he is one of 3 english people in a factory of Polish workers. The line leader is deliberately winding him up.. singing christmas carols next to him.. I told him to either join in or howl like a dog/cat and laugh it off.. once they realise he doesn't care they will accept him it is a rite of passage.

    Off to finalise tesco order..

Definitely feeling a bit battered and worn thin at the moment, though - I realised yesterday that I seem to have one leg shorter than the other at present, which tallies with how my back feels like it's 'locked' into my hip on one side. Been looking at local osteopaths as a result - think I'm going to make an appointment with the one I can remember being round - gulp - TWENTY EIGHT YEARS AGO when I was a teenager with horrendous back and neck pain. I figure that if he was going to do anybody any real mischief, he would have closed down years ago.

Have you tried or thought of the Alexander Technique; I've found it very useful in the past.

Hugs to YL and Natty for sick loved ones. Methotrexate is a pig, Natty, as JoJo and I have often discussed.

Trying to catch up with various things today.
    - went to zumba and had final pre-Christmas coffee with the 'girls'.
    - dashed into W1ckes and got present for Mr N. Not terribly exciting but ok for the 'little things on the tree is all we are doing this year apart from charity donations'.
    - continued a report, which I've just finished and it can be checked tomorrow - er that's now today when I get up- and sent off. 3 to go.
    - Did huge Lid1 shop for charity boxes and various stuff for us. Not planning to do any more shopping other than veg next Monday. In theory. Mr N added to the excitement in the crowd by dropping 2 jars of pasta sauce, only one of which he managed to catch! Big mess.
    - visited recently bereaved friend to deliver card, change high light bulb and generally socialise. Dropped card into another friend who sadly, according to the card I had from her this morning, has had major surgery and chemotherapy since I last saw her in spring.
    - made a couple of phone calls and kept up with general admin.
    - made a new list of the few items on my 'old' list plus more.
    - put more oasis in to soak for flowers tomorrow.
    - started clearing gibble and clutter from lounge/dining room ready for dinner guests tomorrow.

That's enough for now. Hugs to all. Amused myself yesterday (and have it going through my head today) by seeking out metal versions of Christmas songs...........love them! As did my drum teacher when I took up half my lesson showing them to him. Yes I know I'm mad.

Morning all. Paid stuff today and whatever flying I can fit in.

More (((hugs))) to YL and also Fayolle. Our children are always our children and because we want to protect them with tooth and claw, it is devastating when we feel powerless to help xx

Last night I finished writing all the cards that have to be posted, including one to France (where sending and receiving seasonal cards after 25th Dec is not unusual), so need to call at PO today.

I spent an hour on the phone yesterday evening to people that I haven't seen for a while. The upshot of this is that I'm going out to coffee (or maybe lunch) with a friend today and also visiting my little goddaughter this afternoon - this will involve travelling to and across Millennium City in the rush hour, about an hour's drive each way, but heigh-ho, I shall get cuddles :)

This morning I have already checked my bank account (no surprises) and started writing a shopping list for the weekend. I am working through the list I wrote on Monday.

DH has to go to his gym, so I am hoping for space to do some more clearing up. Still no decorations here - I need the place tidy first. But I might just need some more lights to go across the rose arches :) so coffee could be combined with a GC trip. I have just remembered that I have some free coffee vouchers from one of our closest GCs, which might influence my choice of cafe :money:

DH has just called me down to breakfast. Catch up later - hope everyone has a better day than they were expecting xx

    Morning all

    Hugs to YL x

Very little flying happening here, painter is working in the master bedroom, paid stuff is hectic. People suddenly realising that next week is Christmas (!!!!!!!!) and they want stuff finalised NOW, Grrrr

    I can’t wait for Friday!

DH is off after today so I know he will tackle things if I need him to. My problems pale into insignificance compared to some so I really shouldn’t moan.

Right on to today, Paid stuff now then will just see what I can get done round the house later.

Hugs, sticks, spoons, GWS vibes, etc, etc all available for those in need xx
