  • Work consisted of very little work (but some) and far more gifts than I ever imagined I'd get. I have multiple boxes of biscuits, chocolates, sweets, a bottle of novelty fizzy stuff, handcream (I think) and a load of other things I won't be unwrapping until the day - or maybe the Eve. I palmed off the contents of one box of Celebrations onto random children that visited over the morning and regifted a posh chocolate bunny to a member of staff who has been lovely to me all term.

Now sitting down with a respectable mountain of stuff under the tree.

I made it to the end of term.

Just cleaning, shopping, cooking, eating and sleeping to do now.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

I'm sure you deserved every one of them, Jojo - congratulations on surviving the term :T:T:T

A few more oddments sorted, and a long phone conversation had with a friend. Tried to ring another, but they were already on the phone so I must try again now.

I have put away some of the toddlers' stuff in the loft and am about to get out the Christmas tree and other decorations.

DH has just arrived home. He says he hasn't eaten any biscuits or anything all day, apart from a vegetable tagine with rice ?!?!?! There is a delicious stew in the SC but I shall be keeping that for 3 easy meals next week and cooking something else this evening.

It’s been a stressful day at work. But I came home to find my lovely flylady cards, complete with a chocolate (thank you Narc0 x). Thank you so much, and thank you to Natty for organising it all.

DH is about to go out for a couple of hours. DD is out at a friend’s house. No excuse not to get the wrapping sorted then....but I’ll try to think of one while I make a cuppa.;)

Piggers - it's very bad practice not to issue receipts (we've now gone onto e-payment so no longer an issue) - to protect the office staff from accusations as well as record keeping.

Ours do online payments but the system they use locks my account after every use so I have to go in and reset it all and then set it up again.. it is a gigantic pain in the butt plus stuff like the cookery and tickets and extra bits are not put on the system. The girls music lessons are on there but they haven't reduced the amount owed by the £50 we have paid .. it isn't very professional.

For those waiting for cards, they were posted yesterday 🎄🎄🎄

    Mine arrived thank you!!

Been to B&M, went to Tesco.. tried to pick up my prescription which has apparently been sent to some weird online thing I have never heard of.. I think CF is back up to his old tricks. I randomly opened a letter on the 17th which said a different company was taking over my gas & electric from the 19th... erm... no... but interfereing with my medication is disgusting!

Not much flying done here over the last couple of days, just the usual daily tasks, I did hoover downstairs today, going to do a few of the list jobs over the weekend. Enjoy the weekend all :)

  • Hi!
Have now finished the paid stuff until 2020 so today’s flying was:
Thoroughly clean the fridge and microwave in our office.
1 load of washing ( seriously?? There are 2 of us so where does it all come from??)
WRAPPED ALL THE PRESENTS!!!!!! Happy dance
Trimmed middle dog who is good as gold and will let me do anything. Looking very gorgeous now!
Thinking about polishing off the choc trifle...

A reasonable day and the long list is shorter....
    - wm dragged in from garage and 2 loads done.
    - bird table re-erected after torrential rain caused it to fall over.-
    - decorated church, swept pews, hoovered floor
    - finished knitting SIL's present
    - 2 flower arrangements done, 1 for DB and SIL, the other for a local friend. Am meeting DB tomorrow to exchange presents and mum, who he is collecting at lunch time and meeting us for tea just off the M25.
    - Remaining flowers and foliage consolidated into one vase and one bucket (formerly 3 buckets) so kitchen is clearer.
    - All charity donations done and details put in the Christmas cards of their 'recipient'
    - uni report finished. 2 more to go although I didn't promise they would get them before the holidays - if I can finish them before admin break up on Tues, so much the better.
    - pay claim written, to be sent tomorrow.
    - kitchen floor swept
    - hall and lounge/diner hoovered.

    Tomorrow's plan is to
    -finish and send pay claim
    -get mum's room ready
-do some drumming practice for a bit of relaxation
    -deliver friend's flowers and card
-evaluate/finalise menu plan as there is a big Te$c0 on the way to where we are meeting mum
    -put hopefully dry washing away
-re-evaluate and doubtless add to list.

    Night all
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
It's tough getting rid of the past but it does free up space for the future.

    Morning all

Woken with a headache this morning, just taken some parrots and made a cuppa, hopefully it will ease.

Finished paid stuff until 2020, busy couple of days so not much flying from me, dailies at lease have been done.
Painter has finished so master bedroom looking really nice, shame we can’t move back in to it until the en suite etc is done but at least it’s a step in the right direction.
DH did most of the house stuff yesterday, just my office, the spare room and the bathroom to do this morning, I have a list of stuff I want to do over the break, today is, wrap presents for Mum and sister, we are meeting them for lunch tomorrow, haircut and colour today and may try and pop a few decorations up to make the place look a little festive!

Back later,, hugs to all x

    Morning all.

Dailies and dog walking to do then I'm going to alternate 15 minutes flying with 15 minutes working on a presentation as a deadline is looming. Physio and breakfast first.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
