    Hi MT,

I can't believe I missed your return. I had been thinking about you.

You really seem to be coming out the other side from last years stresses.
I am so impressed with the running. I always seem to let my running slip once the dark nights draw in. I did the ragnar last September but I'm struggling with a 5k at the moment. I'm aware that it's 95% a mental block as I've kept up my swimming and general fitness and also started some light weights at the gym.

The professional studies sounds like a brilliant move for you.

I'm so please to see you back.

    Take care
    SM

Hello Starmummy! Great to see you too! I agree with the running being at least 50% mental - my brain tells me to stop almost every run.... It's a constant battle of wills! But I'm always so pleased with myself afterwards.

Happy - today was a real mixed bag - my meeting with the head honchos from the trust went really well and they raved about my work but the intrigue and drama continued with us being none the wiser as to what is going on with the internal leadership..... Worrying times.

On the plus side, I was home earlier than normal for a Monday and did a big walk with the dog in semi daylight - a rare thing on a Monday.
I've had a busy evening doing some work, housework and more dog walking but I'm finally sitting down to watch some telly before bed. Think it's corrie and silent witness and that will be me for the day - was up and awake at 4.45.....

Inspired by you I ran a 5k while Star Child was at dance class last night. The weather was strangely mild.
It felt really good, not fast but strong. There were loads of other runners about, hardly any in high-vis, there was me lit up like a christmas tree.

I'm glad the meeting went well yesterday MT, it's at time like this where you need to remind yourself to try not to worry about the things you can't change. Trust the process, it will be ok in the end.
