1. WRITE/USE DECLUTTERING & CLEANING “TO DO LISTS” - MINIMUM 30 MINUTE BURSTS OF ACTIVITY AT LEAST TWICE EVERY DAY2. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT3. I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO BE NICE TO EVERYONE & TRY TO SEE THE FUNNY OR PECULIAR SIDE TO AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
4. JUST DO ONE THING (courtesy of bit_by_bit)DH was given permission 😉 to leave sorting the 2 wormeries until the weather is a bit drier 😉 Instead he has continued with sorting his office. The old curtains were dried in the td but the pair from the bedroom fell to pieces 😱 so are going to be used as worm food although I first used them to mop up the water from the wm drain 😉 There were bits of curtain in all the nooks & crannies of the wm, scooped out as much as possible before running the ‘drum clean’ programme & a rinse programme with a couple of handfuls of soda crystals.Painted the 1st coat of paint in the grid on the bedroom wall - in alphabetical order 😉 & will paint the 2nd coat tomorrow. Of the 6 colours one is a definite no-no. I then decided to do some work in the kitchen as my task of the day 😉 I emptied the top shelf of my larder/food cupboard, washed & dried the shelf & then restocked differently - it is now the ‘spares shelf’ of spices, herbs, condiments, pickles & pulses. Yes I do have a list 😉 which I will write up properly 🙂 I also sorted out the day to day cooking ingredients cupboard (oils, vinegars, stock cubes, condiments) - emptied, washed & dried all 3 shelves & rearranged the contents. Decanted duplicates into single pots so a bit of decluttering 😉
Dinner was oven chips, bacon, baked beans & fried eggs for DSis - one of her eggs was a double yolker 🙂 first one I have seen in a couple of years 🙂 Same for DH with the addition of some polish sausages but no double yolker 😕. I had baked lo cheesy pasta.2200 - 2205 Kitchen recycling, office recycling, glass jar, 2 plastic pots, drinks cans - Recycled

Wow moneyonmymindsam 🤩 You really do have the bit between your teeth 👏 I am very impressed with your clothing sort out - very MSE of you to plan next years clothes spending as zero 👏👏 Unfortunately I cannot do the module thing as none of my clothing goes together 😛Thanks nannywindow 👏 I am holding off on awarding myself a gold star - if I can complete 5 consecutive days of proper decluttering/cleaning activity I will award myself one gold star. So far 3 days done 🙂 only 2 to go 🤞Another declutterer who is going great guns 👏 I did have to laugh at the ‘tale of the blouse’ 🤣 but a couple of buttons & you have saved money 👏 Now that your shed is emptier, you will miss doing your mountain goat impersonation 😉 😁Now, now Happy_Kitties (wagging finger emoji) remember the tale of the tortoise & the hare 😉 - steady progress 👏MrsSD ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🏅

Thanks for the stars, Mrs SD - not sure DD is impressed at helping me, but it keeps her busy and helps get it all done
She has the morning off from helping today, as she has an assessment for a job - fingers crossed

Today was an easy clean so a tidy up. Dog walks done and another to do shortly. Just washing up and putting the rubbish out to go. I think this afternoon will be more present wrapping if they arrive.
1.2 magazines re-gifted and 2 other things to go out to find to meet my daily target.
Washing still drying on airer but it's a heated rack so I've switched that on. Building works outside mean I can't have the windows open otherwise the dogs will bark at the new noise.

1040-1042: 1 book and 2 DVD's to the charity shop pile.
1043: paper recycling out
1044: mixed materials recycling out.
1045-1050: 250 old emails disposed of while watching TV.
I had a lightbulb moment: instead of waiting for the charity shops to reopen, I can rehome books and DVD's via a communal bookcase on the next street over. Also working on selling some stuff over the weekend: today is sorting day, tomorrow photograph and list day. right, laundry time.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

4. JUST DO ONE THING (courtesy of bit_by_bit)Thursday was cold all day 🥶 The veg box arrived about 1.00 a.m. - salad potatoes, green peppers, rocket, purple sprouting broccoli, carrots, celeriac, onions & courgettes.DH went to sm for the Thursday shop. DSis had a bath & washed hair.I managed to keep up the good work 😉 Day 4 - emptied, cleaned & rearranged the last
3 shelves in the larder/food cupboard (notes taken but lists to be transcribed) + all three shelves in the double cupboard (designated as Br*x*t) cupboard. An added bonus is that I sorted the 5 cubby holes in the wall unit - I can now easily see what I have. Safe to say that I am fully stocked so the weekly shopping trips will only be for Christmas treats, fresh vegetables & possibly meat for the freezer 🥳 not forgetting the ubiquitous toilet roll 😉
My gold star is in sight 😉Dinner was oven cooked salmon fillets, boiled hg potatoes & garden peas from freezer.2208 - 2216 Kitchen recycling, magazine, 6 newspapers, cardboard packaging - Recycled2217 - 2218 Kitchen detritus, plastic packaging - Binned
