😔 forgot to post yesterday 😔 DH left before 9:00 a.m. - last overnight trip to complete his 2020 Round Britain Rallying (North Wales) - I believe that means he will get an All Rounder Trophy 👏🥳 Monday was a lovely dry day but couldn’t be ‘arrised to go outdoors. What I did do was make a loaf of bread 🙂 - took rather longer to bake & came out rather darker than I expected 😉 I had forgotten that I had half a small bag of Wholemeal bread flour which I added to my container of white bread flour 😱 However it will be great to dunk in my rather delicious 🤤 hm soup 😉😉 For lunch I had a tuna salad using up all my hg lettuce & hg rocket - rather disappointingly there was not a lot of it 🙁 - dressed with a bit of vinegar & olive oil & 2 teaspoons of mayonnaise.DH phoned around 6:00 p.m. - he had had a good day & was safely ensconced in his hotel room having showered & finished his flask of coffee. Dinner booked for 8:00 p.m.
DSis & I had chicken fried in butter with boiled Veg Box potatoes & Veg Box corn on the cob. The corn on the cob was a major disappointment - hard & tasteless 🙁
Tuesday is another bright, sunny & reasonably warm day - not to put the kibosh on it but maybe an Indian Summer 🤞 So keeping everything crossed that I might get some red tomatoes 🤞 DH is due home about 7:30 p.m. but will wait for his call.

TC77 - how very laid back your friend is but it does give us food for thought on our decluttering journeys. Perhaps a go bag of the important/vital paperwork/cash/spare glasses/medications + the items that are irreplaceable and a 2nd overnight bag with a change of clothes & toiletries. Ultimate prepping 😉 By the way, I have every faith in you TC77 - break it down to 4 a day and you will hit your target 🙂 Slow & steady will win the race 👏
What a marvel you are bit_by_bit 😇 Keeping busy by helping others 😇 Rather odd that your sewing machine needle needs to be replaced after 8 hours of sewing bearing in mind one needle equalled 30 years of sewing 🙄 At the rate you are being told to replace, you would need hundreds if not thousands of needles 😱
Re the baby blankets - is there a particular charity you send them to? do you knit them? what size & do you use wool wool or wool mixtures?Nice to see you vulpix 👋

one of the churches around my home make babyboxes and send out to somewhere, they use donated things and some ladies knit from donated yarn, there must be lots of places to send things. I remember by grandmother sending things many years ago. Charity shops are my favourite place to onload still usefull "clutter" When I started clearing books (10years ago?) they wouldnt take books because they had so many (I had to throw them away!)7
