Three buckets of dead-heading and weeds decluttered from the garden. Both myself and DH were hot clammy messes at the end; but bearing in mind we both have debilitating illnesses, we don't think we did too badly.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)8 -
1. WRITE AND USE “TO DO LISTS” - MINIMUM 30 MINUTE BURSTS OF ACTIVITY AT LEAST TWICE EVERY DAY2. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT3. I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO BE NICE TO EVERYONE & TRY TO SEE THE FUNNY OR PECULIAR SIDE TO AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
4. DAY TO DAY DECLUTTERING WILL CONTINUESunday has been hot, hot, hot 🥵
After watching the motorcycle racing I persuaded DH to do a few tasks. He added extra compost to all the potato pots/bags/crate (3, 5, 1), refilled all the bird feeders, took out the bottom third of contents from the compost bin & placed on top (still a bit woody), emptied last sack of bird feed into the metal containers, blended lots of vegetable matter & fed the worms, cleaned his helmet visor & motorbike screen (lots of dead insects from our trip to Cornwall) & lastly rotated our mattress.DSis was way too hot so spent most of the day watching TV in her room with the occasional foray to the kitchen for drinks/food.
I was busier than I have been of late starting with a morning watering of the garden, then stripped bed; put 1st wash load on; emptied, cleaned & restocked last shelf in the larder (glorified cupboard really 😉) - unfortunately ood LL milk - smelt OK so did taste test & it was on the turn - emptied, rinsed & recycled carton ☹️; hung out 1st wash load & put in 2nd load; Peeled all potatoes, parsnips & carrots - cooked a few potatoes, a few carrots & the parsnips - mashed & will be bagged & put in freezer; rearranged the contents of the kitchen freezer (now have a bit of wiggle room 🙂); cooked the rest of the potatoes as the topping for the cottage pie I made for dinner; hung out 2nd load of washing - everything dried but still to be put away 😞; evening watering including feeding the tomato plants; washing up done. Currently watching Downton series.1464 - 1469 Kitchen recycling, glass bottle, 2 plastic bottles, magazine, drinks cans - Recycled1470 - 1471 Empty compost bag, coffee tin full of kitchen detritus - Binned

Tossed and turned, so decided to check e mails, then watch gardening on catch up BBC1...
Pick 20lb plus... plums fri eve, paid for, all from a local lady, so have now sold 12lb of them, cooked up some, weighed out 6lb, ready for jam/chutney for tues when i get hm del from Tesco. Rest will prob eat as is... Picked beans and courg from our garden and watered all the veg and pots. Hubby had to fill one water butt first from the mains, pained me to do this, but needs must. Other 2 are empty, hope for some rain this week to refill them....hope I dont regret saying that!!!😁😁
Cleaned dust from bathroom window sill, put washed clothes away, cooked roast dinner. DD and I then sat and watched the 3 episodes of Penance and 3 other recorded bits off video. Still quite a lot to catch up on there! ...

503. Bought some advance train tickets. I don't normally managed to sort train tickets out that early - I've saved a fortune.
I plan to focus on organising myself over the next few days then taking the weekend to recharge again.
A few things to add:
504. Swapped for accomodation for my course next week - saved £100 and accommodation is in the same building as my course.
505. Ordered recycling sacks
506. Cancelled paid Zoom subscription
507. Cancelled Prime Trial
508. Signed up for a course in the Autumn - managed to get the early bird price
It's lovely to re-join you all

I couldn't sleep either. I spent some of the night wandering round the house looking to see if there was anything I could get rid of. I came up empty handed as sleepy me isn't actually that bothered about decluttering.
The garage kitchen is being taken on Saturday afternoon so need to do some decluttering in there. DD did some painting and used a full tub of glitter. That means there is one less tub for me to worry about getting everywhere!
Have a lovely week everyone xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x11 -
I do make my own bread but I've been using sliced through the heat taking what we need out of the freezer as home made doesn't keep and I can't bear throwing out loaves that have gone mouldy. The birds don't get fed quite as often now but they get all the odds they WILL eat and I make sure to keep the bird bath full and even the bees are coming in for a drink from it. I sometimes make cheese too, only the lactic cheeses like paneer but they work well and also yoghurt when I just have more milk than we can reasonably use in he fridge. We walked last evening when it cooled down enough and on a new to us footpath found a tree of bullace plums absolutely laden with fruit, sadly I feel more jam coming on and also the walnut tree on the corner at the top of the hill is laden with nuts and beginning to drop the odd one or two so I shall make absolutely sure to be up early to collect them and hope to be ahead of the squirrels and crows who bury them for winter food, in fact I've been noticing quite a few young walnut trees in the hedgerows and the woodland behind our road where the brook runs so they don't dig all of them up again!
Some cardboard taken to the cardboard bins in the car park, foil milk bottle tops to the foil bank and the usual paper, tins, glass and garden waste to the bin men for recycling this morning is the best I can come up with for de-cluttering today.9 -
