DH’s cigarette run was a success. Left home at 10:00 a.m. & back by 7:00 p.m. The form was not requested & no one checked his ticket on the train. DH had really been looking forward to a BK burger but the shop at the Channel Tunnel was boarded up. However on the way home he managed to find a drive through that was open & had just enough space to stow 2 in the top box. Reheated in the warming drawer & thoroughly enjoyed by DH 🙂
I did post my parcel - padded knitted hearts to the local hospital. Also bought a few grocery items - kept my promise to myself - after all the P.O. shop was open all through lockdown. The rest of my day was spent clearing down programmes from the planner, drinking tea/coffee & pottering. Checked my card stash for posting & realised that I had been remiss 😔 - cue a walk to the Post box - 1 late & several may be late arriving 😔 Oh well at least I am back on track now. DSis & I had the lo cheesy pasta for dinner.Wednesday has been hot & sunny so far. Roundtuit’s ‘Stressy Bessy’ has taken up residence 😔 but I am hoping that ‘Weekend Willie’ will be strong enough to oust her 🤞

Last night as I now have more space in shelves etc moved crockery from.bedroom ( don't ask why in bedside table and wardrobe - spare bedroom) and is now in kitchen cupboards and box of antiquarian books (I've had for 30 years s now about 130 years old) now in cupboard and CDs now in bedroom where the only cd player is! Much of these should go but too big a task 1513- 1516 as also space in landing cupboard for hoover!8 -

*338-339 makeup sponges x2 of DDs that she had left to soak and had forgotten about.
*340 DD took Duncle his Easter eggs!. Feel like i'm still in March sometimes. Forget we're in August!Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Evening,
I did the love round and got rid of various items. A tray, two egg boxes found in DDs toys as well as a few other toys, a tea leaf holder, and various other items that were in desperate need of putting in the bin. I cleared some bits out of the garage. I even managed to empty two IKEA boxes which are now full again of other things 😂.
That does give space in other areas now though.
I've actually hung some pictures on the wall and found some decal that I have also put up. I've got loads of those.
Didn't count items but can see huge progress now in the house.September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x8 -

Hi garden_girl_2, I am slicing off a sliver of potato with the skin & eye shoots still attached. Fill a pot 2/3rds full of compost, place the ‘eye’ pointing upwards then cover with compost. Once the green stem/leaves start appearing cover with another layer of compost. When the greenery shows through again put another layer of compost over the top. By this time you will have about 15/16ths of the pot filled with compost. Water daily a.m. & p.m. The extra layers of compost appear to encourage strong growth. Depending how big your pot is dictates how many ‘eyes’ you plant. Good luck 😉 Well Done on the decluttering & harvesting 👏
Keep up the good work TC77 👏 Although only a few items gone it sounds like everything is falling into place - tidier & less cluttered. The CDs project/books project can be done in 15 minute stints - remember ‘eating the elephant by cutting into bite sized portions’ 😉Great work Happy_Kitties 👏 Duncle will be so happy to get Easter eggs in August 😉 I have saved 3 eggs (Only £1 eggs) for our November birthdays - DSis, then me, then DH.Wow Nicnak well done 👏 Sounds like Weekend Willie is staying with you at the moment 😉BE KIND. MrsSD, interesting comment you made regarding "lighter" and having "more space". A lot of my paperwork, the hardest I find to declutter, seems to have a negative effect upon me.

29/52 - some extra packaging out to recycling and an old packet of biscuits thrown out (not much but I was determined to clear 1 item from a pile collecting in the conservatory!)8

DH just gone off for his timed slot at the tip and recycling centre to get rid of a lounge chair, a computer chair, two defunct screens and lots of other electronic bits. The two chairs didn't get into the house as from MiL but will count the electronic bits as two bags. First two bags of August. Plenty more to go .Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor.
