Shortbird, I'm sorry to hear that you have lost your Mum. Please accept my condolences at this sad time x
I have acquired a breadmaker a friend wasn't using in exchange for also taking 4 ginormous bags for life of his Ex's toiletries, almost all part-used. https://www.toiletriesamnesty.org/ I was turned away by the first two as they had too much but the woman at the homeless charity was so delighted with them it was lovely to see. 
The breadmaker is on trial. Loaf 1 short-circuited our electrics and loaf two was a disaster. Now waiting more flour to try again. 
Also out this week a still good but a bit blunt lawnmower on Trash Nothing as OH upgraded. Glad someone will get the rest of it's use still. 
And a Christmas box of chutney and cheese biscuits passed from friend to me to neighbour £15 unwanted thing now happily with a new home. 
Lots of good keeping stuff moving going on here, which is hard work but makes me very happy!

why do creams /toiletries you don't like never seem to get used up and those you love always need replacing? trying to use up the odds and ends that I won't replace to make it all more streamline...

Thanks, all. Got the house clearance sorted today so... yeah.
Have a lot of family history stuff to sort and put away and will be borrowing a scanner to make some photo books for the family as I now have all the photos, negatives and slides.

DS has caught the decluttering bug. There is now floor in his room
