Second car load of stuff down to the tip(2/50) again a mix of DS1 tidying his attic lair, and some further contributions from me, mainly in the form of shredded paperwork and a big wodge of cardboard- so tidying rather than decluttering
Also have re-signed up to freegle and will aim to get rid of some stuff that wayI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine0 -
May I join please Mrs SaladDodger ? I really need to undertake mammoth decluttering. I mean it, there may well be actual mammoths lurking woollily in the depths of our over crowded attic., To say nothing of the fact that my student daughter has come home to find her room nearly inaccessible ... I shall attempt to make a conscious effort to pass items on weekly so aiming for 52 out of 52.Nothing in it, nothing in it but a ribbon round it .....0

Actual mammoths, haha!
I weighed myself after the Christmas excess and was very pleased that I had only put on 0.8kg which is less than 2lbs, hurrah. I had a cup of tea, a bacon sandwich and a four finger KitKat by way of celebration :rotfl:.
I have done a bit more paperwork, but that's it. Popped to Sainsbury's for milk and bread, came back with bargains! 2 rolls of Christmas paper for 50p each, then it took 50p off as a 3 for 2 discount :T, so 25p a roll. A pack of lovely Christmas cards for 65p. I must not buy any more now. The other bargains were various nice soaps and children's toiletries that all have recipients in mind, so I now have all work colleagues and most littlies I buy small birthday gifts for sorted until December 2020!
I'm going to have half an hour going at the corner of doom in the kitchen, now I've refuelled....

Hi could I join please?
We really need to sort out the house, certain areas have become really messy due to clutter. I have been meaning to call a charity to pick up all the books that my daughter has outgrown for months now. They are currently blocking the spare bedrooms door. We have so much stuff it's unreal. Hoping to do somehing about this on a weekly basis. Best wishes to you all x0 -
Count me in please! I am fed up of not being able to find anything in my house any more and having no organisation so I am determined 2020 is my sorting out year so I can reclaim some space!0

Biggest wins were several holidays, to Australia, the Maldives, Guadeloupe, a Trek America road trip, Greece & Tenerife, fitted wardrobes for my bedroom, a painted mural in my kitchen and a computer. Lots of other electrical / electronic goodies and lots of different experiences too, including theatre / concert tickets, meals out, short breaks, driving day, VIP trip to a football match etc.
Oh wow, well done!:T0 -
Am trying to keep on top of paper clutter, especially receipts. Now I have a budgeting app that I love, the receipts are cut up with shredding scissors and binned as soon as it’s entered (unless I think I may want to return something).
Just decluttered 7 receipts and have filled an unwanted rucksack with 5 tops, a cardigan and a dressing gown - all no longer sparking any joy. Another pair of satin heels might make it to the bag if I manage to stop wishing I could still wear them....
Have also just done project 333 and realised I only have about 40 items that fit in any case, so was relatively easy to decide.
Off charity shopping tomorrow but have a small list of clothes wants and At the same time will drop off my second donation bag this week.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
keep postponing dealing with the craft clutter.... it’s all hidden away so not overflowing -yet!working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0

Well started this morning as I plan to go on. Filled 3 bags for the charity shops and a pile of stuff to put on an auction website. I'll take it in tomorrow and I can say 3/365. Thanks for starting this thread Mrs SD0
