An amazing amount of work going on here. I am only getting in intermittently because I am busy doing other things. Over the weekend I went to a meeting at the allotments, shopped in town and spent nothiing on £165 worth of clothing thanks to vouchers and 20% off for my birthday. Going to go through the wardrobe again now to removed some of the tattier items.
Sisters partner is now almost back to health so we moved his bedroom back upstairs for him and did the CS in the afternoon. They are still getting ( and throwing out) christmas stuff, such a shame.
This week we have totally cleared the box room and are decorating it. Once done DDs stuff and only her stuff will go in. Unfortunately the RoD (Room of Doom) is a mess again as DS3 left a load of stuff when he moved out and has no space. I will be boxing anything he wants to keep and the rest is going in the bin/CS. We are on target to get the house sorted for when my DS comes at Easter. The RoD will be cleared, decorated and refurbished by then.
I will pop in again soon actually having got rid of some stuff.

1. DO NOT PUT OFF TO TOMORROW WHAT CAN/SHOULD BE DONE TODAY2. WRITE AND USE “TO DO LISTS”
3. LEAVE A ROOM TIDIER THAN WHEN I ENTERED
4. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT
5. WHEN DEALING WITH CLUTTER I WILL USE ‘Daisy1571’s idea of ‘WHAT WOULD I DO WITH THIS ITEM IF IT WAS SOMEONE ELSE’S?
Tuesday it rained on & off all day ☹️ I was fortunate though as I missed all the downpours 👏 Missed the bus so walked to the sm, found a trolley at the bus stop (so no need for a £1 coin) 🙂, found a penny 😆, not too busy in the sm, pleasant checkout lady, 2 minute wait for bus home - rather than the more usual 15 minutes 👏
Anyone else finding Endeavour a bit boring?
Dinner was pork steaks, mash, broccoli, baked mushrooms & tomatoes (in the dirty oven 😂)

You are welcome greent 🙂
Don’t forget to polish it occasionally EssexHebridean 🤭 Thanks for the info - I might try that on the oven shelves 😉 Decluttering mojo at work & you appear to have ‘infected’ MrEH as well 😂 Well done on the decluttering especially in the office 👏 I agree that decluttering Photos is really difficult although I am fortunate in that most of mine are people free 😉

Not much done
404-406 books to League of Friends shop
407-408 remains of candles. I have a massive stash of candles which I am slowly using up.
408 packaging thrown away.11 -

I tackled the bottom of the display cabinet last night. It is hidden and a dumping ground. I got 15 DVDs that can be sold
and 33 items to the CS this morning. I had around 10 boxes with no DVDs where they've broken, I've thrown them, but kept the box. Have a lovely day everyone.

One of the declutter tips was to maximise the recycling and bin days. I can honestly say that I have definitely done this so far with the bin and paper recycling. And the amount of CS deliveries they even know my post code by memory for gift aid
Day 49
- 1 kids juice cup to the bin
- Pile of paper to recycling (shredding not required)
- Magazine to recycling
- Selection of old chargers and leads to the bin - approx 5
Day 50
- Broken photo frame to the bin
- 3 more juice cups to the bin (I am determined to reduce these)
- 5 memorabilia tops to work (someone will have these)
- 1 plastic container of some description to the CS bag
- 1 unworn training type top to work (someone will definitely have this)
I think I'm now getting round to the second sweep of the house. Easy stuff done, trickier decisions ahead! Once half term is done I'm attacking the living room again!

I finally managed to drop of a bag at the CS (new one, so registered for gift aid), take my batteries in to the SM to put in the battery bin, and hand over a present to a friend who was ill before Christmas and I've only just managed to catch up with face to face. Three annoying things off the list!11

You remind me Greenbee that we also have batteries and also water filter cartridges that need to go for recycling. I rarely use the SM that takes the filter cartridges though, so they accumulate.
Nothing more done at home as I was out for dinner with a friend last night - I decluttered a pizza and a piece of cheesecake at Pizza Express instead!More shredding done in the office this morning though!
