    To be fair to wiseonesomeofthetime, earlier in this thread more than one contributor was openly stating that they had managed to open more than this no. of them and other posters, not realising the possible implications, were saying well done etc.

    To be fair to wiseonesomeofthetime earlier in this thread more than one contributor was openly stating that they had managed to open more than this no. of them and other posters, not realising the possible implications, were saying well done etc.
    I emailed Virgin recently for clarification on this issue, and they confirmed that there is no limit on the number of Virgin current accounts that a customer may have.

    Thank you dc_scotland! That is potentially one of the most helpful posts I've seen so far on this forum! (I'm a relative newbie tbh so I've not seen the many other very helpful posts that longstanding members of MSE's forums may well have seen.)

    It seems they are changing the name of the Virgin Money current account "Our Virgin Money Current Account will soon be changing to be the M Plus Account. Don’t worry, it’s just a name change. Everything else stays the same."

    That's a shame ... I was hoping things might improve! Not impressed with my VMCA so far.

    What issues have you had? I've been happy with mine so far.

    You can always try the Yorkshire or Clydesdale app as they are a simplified version of the Virgin app.
    Yorkshire uses 05 sort codes and Clydesdale 82 sort codes to define what legacy app to use.
