Hi December Devotees,
Mood still out-of-wack but pressing on where I can.
Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Five:
* Checked online banking.
* Put in work expenses.
* Already voted: postal vote.
* Continued my Challenge 500 miles challenge to travel 500 miles for free before the end of 2019: walking, hiking, climbing, cycling, running and swimming. I'm up to 483/500.
* Got caught in a 3-hour jam yesterday and was 'starving' by the time I was nearly home. Bought a 99p burger in McDonalds to tide me over. Not MSE, but a modest solution to a problem.

Morning folks
Well I had an mse solution to my birthday meal... have terrible anxiety all afternoon, then a panic attack at the restaurant and leave without eating :money:
Still feeling very fragile today. I don't know what's wrong with me but it can do one.
I would like to hide in bed, but actually must finish the meal plan, do the shopping and off to mil's
Have a good day all
clf x
PS: I would like to go on record as saying that OH was absolutely wonderful and said and did all of the right things. I'm very luckyLBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310 -
Clf, sorry to hear that your anxiety was bad yesterday ,its a horrible thing. Leaves me wanting to hibernate
Hope you have a better day.
I've put washing away from the heated airer.
Kids have had porridge for breakfast (dh & I will have some later)
Need to
* check banking/update spreadsheet
* all meals from stores
* maybe go to the cinema with dh if he's up to it as he's been watching the election coverage most of the night.
* clean kitchen using star drops/washable cloths
* put a load in the wash on a quick 30 degree wash and hang on the heated airer once done
* general potter around maybe decluttering, tidying getting ready for xmas.
That's it for me today I think.
Take care all.Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Devastated this morning!
NSD day yesterday!
Need to make Christmas cards before it's too late ... will be the focus this weekend!
Time to fill up on 10p off gas.
Time to sort out Christmas tickets, except cant check in until day before.
Must find decorations tonight and get tree decorated properly. Not buying any bits.
Happy friday all!Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Morning all!
Finally received refund from old energy supplier! My plan was to pay this straight off the CC but I'm going to leave it where it is for now as a buffer for over Christmas. Hopefully it will still be intact at the end of the month and then I'll use it as an overpayment but feel more comfortable having it sat there.
Today I have/will:
* Check banks
* Wash towels on 30 degree eco wash
* Go to dentist and pay for from pot - cost had slightly gone up so £4 short but not bad
* Check OP/PA
* Look into getting a smart meter with new energy supplier
* Nag OH to call sky re refund
* Make meal plan as still not done this!
* Make shopping list
* SHOP TO LIST
* Snap receipt
* Dinner from stores
* Wash hair and let dry naturally
* Pack bag as at my friend's this weekend
* Do some more crochet if I have any time left!
Think that's everything for today. Hope everyone has a good day.Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89

Hi December Devotees,
Mornin'.
Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Five:
* Checked online banking.
* Received £175 work expenses.
* Continued my Challenge 500 miles challenge to travel 500 miles for free before the end of 2019: walking, hiking, climbing, cycling, running and swimming. I'm up to 486/500. 5km/3mile cycle this morning.
* Resisted temptation to drive car closer to home. Had to park a couple of streets away yesterday. No need to move it closer for no reason whatsoever.

THE MSE FORUMS ARE CHANGING :mad:
This Forum platform is changing it's format and we're all going to be migrated over to it sometime in the New Year. My understanding is that it will basically be the same content but that it will look different.
You must make sure your Forum email address is up to date before 3rd Feb or you will need to set up a new account.
To check go to your User Control Panel and click on Edit Email And Password and just make sure you have the right email address recorded.
There's a thread where you can discuss this if you wish (Link), though it mainly seems to be people hurling insults at each other.

Afternoon all
Hope you are ok CLF
And Ally, are you feeling better now?
I confess I am not, having been awake most of the night watching the election coverage
I think that small things will be more important than ever going forward, whatever your political persuasion. We live in interesting times
And the boiler has blown up :mad:
The plumber has promised to pop in to look at it tomorrow, so I will need to wait in for him instead of going to a long planned family thing
But we are warm, as the stove is alight. And we have an electric shower in the spare bedroom's ensuite :T When we took on this house we were careful not to put all eggs in one basket!
I have done a load of washing and got it dry outside :T
Must put it on the airer, as the airing cupboard doesn't work atm
I have made lots of sloe gin and wild game sausage rolls, some to take tomorrow (OH can take them) and some to freeze for Christmas
I have cream of celery soup on the hob, made with bargainous celery from the market
OH went out and finished the Christmas shoppng (it was only vouchers)
All Christmas cards but one are now posted :T
Lunch was scrambled eggs, as I still have an egg mountain (if not a basket :rotfl:)
Dinner will be something from the freezer as I am fed up with cooking after all those sausage rolls :eek:
Hoping for some sleep tonight!0
