    Bins in
    Dressing changed
Nail smashed off.. x2 .. fixing tomorrow at 1pm.
Vacuumed the christmas tree shedding courtesy of the cats climbing the darn thing.
    DW x2.. needs a 3rd and 4th run I think.

Fun time at school pick up with police on the gate searching for a guy with a sword who had beaten a woman up earlier in the day.. obviously I was last off the playground after Dot 'lost' a cardigan and had to spend 3 hours looking for it. Apparently they picked some guy up so that was our excitement over.

4 more christmas presents decided on.. just need some money! I need to organise some photo's printing too, but again cash be needed.

Still not found time to ring about the cooker installation and tomorrow isn't looking hopeful but I will give it a go and hope I am not on hold for 25 minutes! I may need to call CMS as well but that requires at least an hour..

AND!!!! My dryer is on the blink again.. it is turning itself off after 5 minutes so drying nothing.. So I need to sort that and the leaky washing machine too.

Spending a day on the phone then!

Morning all. Just lost a post ...

Yesterday’s shopping day was a bit of a let down although we did have a good catch up. Which, let’s face it, is what it really was. After all, it’s not really mid December, is it?!
The 30 minute train journey home took 2.5 hours of hanging around and finally getting a train to the nearest small town possible and walking in the rain and wind to a convenient place for DH to pick me up.
Car insurance renewed last night with the same provider but at a better price so that’s a job off the list hopefully for another year. I had intended to write the Christmas cards as some need to hit a last posting date this Saturday. In the end, I sorted out the card stash, and rewrote the list to account for the various people who are no longer with us since last Christmas. Bit of a sad job really, to realise how many people that was.
This morning I have stuck a load in the wm to hang up before I go to work. Clean and dry washing folded. I’m hoping to fit in a kitchen s&s, as there is very little other flying happening around here atm. Tomorrow will be different, of course... not sure who I’m kidding.
    Have a good day all.

    Morning all

Started paid stuff early and had a productive hour or so, prioritised my mammoth list and delegated some work so feeling a little more like it will be achievable now. Trying to stay positive...
After that I’ve done a little flying...
Downstairs loo and utility room cleaned
Litter trays emptied, washed and refilled
WM swishing and next load lined up to go in
    Yesterday’s laundry folded and away
Bed made and quick tidy of bedroom
    Hoovered through downstairs
    Ate breakfast!

Right on to paid stuff again. Have a good day all x

After staring at the mess of stuff I needed to sort in my DR (aka 'the dump') last night for ages and deciding I was overwhelmed I managed to process/file/shred most as appropriate and feel much lighter today.

Talking of lighter I am 3.5lbs lighter and came home with a sticker, a certificate and a bag of fruit!

So a good hour of sorting/tidying/flinging this morning then off to work.

    Have good days all x

Feeling a bit better today, and been volunteering, managed hour and half, then called it a day.

Both tradesmen have been, already poorer, dogs have had their second walk and physio is done.

Just having a cuppa and will then see how much flying I can get done before work.

    Afternoon all

Just had my lunch break, popped out to run a few errands, sorted second load of laundry on to airers. Reloaded machine... it never ends LOL. Just done quick swish of bathroom and now back to work I go!

    Have a good afternoon x
  • Just back in from work. Whose bright idea was it to do a hand print Christmas tree with 3 - 9 year olds who don't really understand a word you say. Result is fantastic, kids happy, parents impressed how clean kids are but as for me and my colleague, let's just say we've had our fair share of green paint, glue and glitter.
Man currently servicing pellet stove so I'm supervising with a cup of tea. Painter reckons she'll be done by the end of tomorrow so I will be delighted as it means I can start putting the room together over the weekend.
Flying wise a bit of washing done, and a few bits sorted and rehomed. Off tomorrow morning so hope to fly.

    Hugs to all that need
