Thank you Valli, I'm actually going to jump in this week. Although not sure how much I'll get done as I'm really not wanting to do things.
I have Christmassy things to do as well as housework, plus a huge frog to clear that I've been procrastinating over.

            Just pausing for lunch,
WM 2
TD 1
Shopping bags sorted (how many do you need)
Plastic boxes sorted, many recycled.
Lunch is in the oven
Will bring more pellets in now
After lunch want to finish kitchen then move on to living room
All whilst continuing to plough through DD1 washing (and ironing)
Better think about dinner too
Off to get pellets now0 -
            Hope you're better soon Kaz.
Dailies are done, dogs have had first walk, bedding changed, flat surfaces in bedroom dusted, second load in machine, been to dentist, done paperwork and hoovered through.
Just had lunch, about to meet with friends so I think that's probably it for today.

Still fluttering along, but not so much done this afternoon. But quite a lot of bits and bobs and as a result the bin is nearly full, and recycling is filling up nicely too.
More washing done
Pellet stoves cleaned and reloaded
Kitchen tidy so might go and hoover and give it a quick mop.
Kitchen floor then a cup of tea and I'll call it a day. Or rather time to peruse the internet looking for Christmas recipes for work bring along. Need something 'English'. But vegetarian0 -
Pestilence, plagues and poxes galore at work.
Hence why I started at 7am and was still there desperately trying to get time critical stuff out at 5.15pm with no break (or even a visit to the toilet - thank ****** for Mooncups) because the person who should have been covering for 40 minutes disappeared and kids needed attention.
My Line Manager dropped in to see me briefly to ask if I was OK. I gave him a 'look'. I don't think a request for time off for an interview will be much of a surprise to him.
At this rate, I'll jack it all in and start working as a cleaner. The wages wouldn't be much different.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Kitchen cleaned from top to toe, including the bin!
Even scrubbed the floor to try and keep the dried mud/dust-in-waiting under control. Spaghetti bolognaise served for dinner and I've just spent this evening on a course so I can be the welfare officer for the junior football club. *Polishes halo*
Tired now, so time for zzzz0 -
Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
I'll apologise in advance for what could be a lack of flying today. Plans, such as they are, consist of dailies, dog walking, take dogs to groomer, meet friend for coffee, wrap presents, meet more friends for pre Christmas get together. Make sure house is smelling ok ahead of a meeting here tonight. The decorations hide the dust.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
            Good morning
Today’s lack of flying apart from some dailies will be very similar to yesterday’s. Although it’s my day off, I’m meeting a friend for our annual pre Christmas shopping trip, aka coffee / lunch with maybe a cursory glance at the shops before we decide that it’s all really too much, and head off back home. DH is dropping me at the station as the traffic and parking in her big town is a nightmare on a good day.
DH is out this evening, so I need to munch on a frog that has morphed into a toadlet.
Have a lovely day all.0 -
Morning all  I'm still here, swimming against the tide of (mainly DH's) horse piddle appointments, my courses (one's just finished :T:T:T) and other work, and just about keeping my head above water.
Last night I managed to order some Christmas presents.
This morning I have
- dusted and hoovered through the LR, DR, hall and kitchen
- straightened DH's room (tidying is his job!) and cleaned his ensuite
- S&S'd bathroom
- tidied my bedroom
- had a useful visit from a community nurse
I still have to
- sort and put away four shopping bags of bits for church
- write some Christmas cards
- take Rosie for her walk
- go to Active Seniors class
- find suitable food for myself and DH
- go to my course in Cathedral City this evening
Better get moving - DH is due back from SW soon.
(((Hugs))), spoons, sticks, success with job applications and GWS wishes all round, as needed xx0 -
