Morning all, I'm going to join you guys if you'll have me, I really need to be held accountable :rotfl:
My house is a mess which is bad considering there are only 2 of us, a cat, a dog and a tarantula. I definitely need more storage [STRIKE]junk holders[/STRIKE] but I think if I organised it all better I can make it work.

    Monday
Hoovered our bedroom including under the bed
Washing load done, put on the line and dried
    Daily dishes

    Tuesday
Cleaned leather sofa with Lord Sheraton Spray (lovely marzipan smell)
Polished all wood with dark brown colour restorer (which was a near disaster as I spilled it luckily it only went all over the cloth I as using.)

The front part of my living room looks better now, just don't check behind the sofa, haha. Now to check the lists and do some tasks from them.

nmm.. hello and welcome.. sounds like you're off to a FLYING start.. I need less junk.. and fewer people.. 11 people living here, 8 cats and Sarah the fish.. it is MANIC and very full.. I spend half my life flinging stuff out!

Boogs new employer spoken to.. sorted that.. looks like he will be on a very very good wage.. About time he paid his way and actually put something INTO the household.. and whatever the offspring earn 1/3rd is board.. whether it is £250 a month or £1m.

I need to get Twinkle to nursery now and then I can spend 25 minutes on hold to D&G.. and OH has drs at 1pm for a dressing change, hopefully this one will last until Friday!

Tomorrow, I have a nail appointment at 1 for a quick fix and DD1 is in at 9:30.. and I am going to persuade her to make an appointment for her hair sorting.. she has been going on about it for months so we are taking the plunge!

I got the wrong day for the Xmas get together. It's next week so I have done some level one flying. Handles and banisters in hall are cleaned and I've wiped all the kitchen sides and cleaned all the small appliances including the microwave.

    Hi all

Didn’t get to post again yesterday... I did finish my book, can’t remember what else!
Today, I’ve been in to the office, just got back after a hellish drive back, left the house @ 6 this morning! Just making a cuppa and then unfortunately I have to log back on and do some more work, could be a late one. I’ve set the WM going and that could be the extent of my flying today.

Blowing a gale here, keep safe and warm all x

Not going to lie - I've had better days. Mini meltdown via text to DH and too much to do in a short space of time.

Visiting GSD knocked my clothes airer over then trampled over all the clean washing with muddy paws , couldn't get the woodburner started as no firelighters (now obtained) two lots of shopping to do in different towns 25 miles apart:mad: attended the school Christmas lunch to find I was supervising the Year 1 and 2 boys on my own:mad: gave half of said Christmas lunch to various children on my table as the portions they were given were rather small and they were all saying they were still hungry! Came home to discover DH had kindly left the kitchen like a tip and had knocked raw dog food onto the floor in the pantry, but had not cleaned it up

Currently sulking at Small's gymnastics practice with a flask of tea and a secretly stashed double Bounty chocolate bar...if I wasnt driving, I'd have a G&T.

Oh, not much flying done except unload and reload the dishwasher and run WM and TD...

    Anyway, hump day tomorrow...
  • Achieved the impossible yet again today. In this case, a roughly five hour uninterrupted job that should have been given to me last week if they wanted it done was dropped on me at 10.45, withdrawn at 11.20 because they'd made a major mistake, redone and I half completed by 1.30, only to have a second equally massive task added to it, despite my saying I needed it right now to have a chance of completion, taking until 2.05 to produce, then 4 minutes before the absolute cut off, 12 further amendments were sent to me. I then had to run the results of the massive job to another location that they didn't share with me (I found it by chance when searching for the person who had originally dumped it on me) and hand it over literally 20 seconds before the time it was needed. And all the time I was doing it, I was also doing all the other work without more than 120s in between interruptions.

And then an absence of cover meant that my legal break entitlement didn't start until my official finish time.

To be snarked at by the person who should have been providing cover that I should have done it last week and it's my problem to sort out because I failed to plan my time effectively, left me internally raging but externally too shattered to respond.

If Himself's hours were more secure, I'd just walk out and leave them to it - or as I summed it up to him when I practically fell in through the front door, F this S.

Himself is doing things with crepe paper and a stapler. I dread to think what seasonal monstrosity will be adorning the living room next. But he seems content, so at least that's something.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Finally finished work. Flying wise I’ve unloaded the WM and put it on the airers, loaded another wash for tomorrow and have just dashed about a bit emptying bins, doing dailies and putting clothes away. I have a mammoth work list again tomorrow, right now though I’m going to flump in a chair and try not to think about it.

    Hugs to all x
