Morning all, not much done yesterday except the usual daily jobs and putting rubbish out for bin day. Today has started off a bit better, washing done and put on line and currently handwashing a net curtain.

Have a good day all, it's Friday :j

  • Checking in late here.

Worked this morning then lunch with friends. Back home to find the painter was just cleaning up and washing the floor so my dining room can be refurnished over the weekend. That's my Christmas present and I'm delighted.

    WM on, TD on,
    Post dealt with
    Bins brought in

Off to make a cuppa and then try and give kitchen a goood clean as it's dusty from the painters working. Fairly tidy so won't take long to wipe everything down and do the floors. Just need to get my a*** into gear.

Both pellet stoves on to try and get the house warm to help the paint and varnish dry. So it should be lovely and snug soon.

    It's nearly the weekend, hooray!

It has been a busy week. College interview, school refusals and challenging behaviour.
Miss Muddy Paws caused me to change our bed late one night. Not sure how so much water surrounded the hairball

    Had haircut

Ds1 miscalculated his finances again so I had to bail him out again.

    dancegran visited where possible

    2 kitchen drawers sorted out
Medicine cupboard cleared out and lists made for ordering for over Christmas requirement

Truly devastated here too. RANT ON.. FEEL FREE TO SKIP !!! This result has just crushed all those times we have taught our children to always tell the truth, the truth always comes out, the truth wins, honesty is the best policy.. yada yada... it has all just been shattered by this farce of lie upon lie upon lie.. no, The truth does not win, the truth never wins because ignorance breeds and lies perpetuate. So children, just lie. If you say it often enough you start to believe the lies yourself..

Then the guardian stick up an article saying 'don't despair, what you can do' .. and then says about helping homeless, giving money none of us have to charity, putting food in foodbanks etc... Shove your article.. those are the things every single labour voter voted for.. it isn't down to the poor to help the poorer. There is supposed to be a welfare network of support from the government to help those in need.. I struggle to feed my own family I can't go feeding other people.. foodbanks disgust me.. not the users, the fact they exist.. it is abhorrent..

I have applied for 6 passports and we are looking at moving to Netherlands where OH has family and my children will be safe. But.. Last time I dealt with the passport office they told me I don't exist and refused a passport.. so he may have to go without me.. The other option is Scotland and hope for their independence..

    RANT OFF!

OH has been signed off work for 2 more weeks.
his stepdad has a triple bypass on Wednesday
My stepdad is having a biopsy to see if his bowel cancer has returned
DD1 is in a very bad state.. healthwise, mentally and financially.
DS3 starts his job on Sunday.. it IS a good thing but there are a million reasons for me to worry and I am going for them all.
My hip and back are utter agony and I can't take the usual medication because they render me half useless and I don't have time for that.
I have a million house issues to deal with but they all cost money I don't have.

But.. My dryer is working.. non-stop actually! I have got through a fair chunk of laundry between hospital, school, Tesco and Boots.
    DW been on
    Food shop done
    Christmas fruit/veg paid for.

OH's mother gave me £100 for birthday/christmas so... I FINISHED MY CHRISTMAS SHOPPING.. and I will get myself some fabulous bits in the sales.. pointless buying stuff now because everything features on my christmas list so may already have been purchased.

We have breakfast with santa at 9:30 in morning and after 3 hours sleep last night I am heading to bed momentarily. Then swimming at 1. I have loads of wrapping to do in the midst of that so I shall sort that too. The girls need help with school christmas cards too.

I just want a day of doing nothing at all.. I have stuff planned every day until next Sunday.

Still need to sort washer repair.. Cleaned the filter on that too.. that was rank! I hate those things.

I need to get the pans I cannot use into the shed and the grill pan, ethernet cable and oven shelf need taking to my mothers.
2 binbags for my sisters friend.. clothes for her girls.

    and wrapping.. soooooo much wrapping!

Today my sucky life sucks more.. and I am dreading this year suicide figures for the christmas/new year period.

I want a day off life.

    Morning :hello:

Well that was a loooong week ending in the looooongest Friday ever but it's over now :T Weekend :j

There are a millionty one things to do - and a decided lack of spoons available to do them with, but heyho.

I sloshed bleach down the toilet to work its magic overnight. This morning I've opened windows upstairs to let in some [STRIKE]damp[/STRIKE] fresh air and made my bed. Oh, and while the kettle was boiling I rinsed six cans ready for recycling.

Decidedly yawny this morning so I'm going to have another cuppa before I [STRIKE]launch myself[/STRIKE] stagger in to the day :D

    Round 1 =
    Another cuppa
    Clear airer
    Take clean folded clothes upstairs
    Get washed and dressed
    Bring down laundry bin
    Sort washing into loads
    Set 1st load swishing

A great big squashy Roundtuit cyber- hug to you all.

    Round 1 completed +

    rinsed and recycled all cans
    recycled cardboard
    fed the birds
decanted bird seed in to container
    unpacked repeat prescription

    Definitely going to be a one-job-at-a-time-broken-down-in-to-stages fluttering day - but that's better than a sat-on-my-cough- because-I-cba-to-do-owt day :D

Food next then I'll WUDUPA a bowl of pots. In fact they can soak while I eat. It's a plan :T
