In the spirit of paying myself first, savings contributions for July are as follows (I've updated the easy update form):

    DD JISA - £100
    DS JISA - £100
    Sharesave Scheme - £220
    Sharematch Scheme - £30
    Personal ISA - £723

    July total - £1,173
    2020 total - £5,110

Things are picking up now - this is my first month over the £1k mark. I need to average £1,378 a month now to hit my target - think I may need to start selling some stuff or finding some additional income!

#31 here having submitted the form with a £6,537 update for July. I’ve also revised target amount to £60,000. Thanks
  • June update form put in. I am happy with my total, but not as happy as I would have been if my tax rebate had landed in June as I had hoped. That massive chunk will now be in my July savings instead.

If all goes to plan in July, I will be moving all my saved money from my ISA into property equity when I buy my own home. Fingers crossed for me please, I am quite nervous about being a homeowner again.

#27 reporting in with £3,760.42 for June. Exciting news is that i'm now mortgage-free, 12 years early, and about 8 1/2 years since I first signed up for one of the MFW challenges. Once a bit of short-term expenditure is complete to do some needed decorating and maintenance, the focus now shifts over to FIRE planning - hope to be in a position to make some lifestyle adjustments within the next five years or so.
Congratulations @Lomcevak . Any words of advice for someone on the other end of the mortgage journey?

hi all, no. 10 reporting first that I made an idiotic error in my May calculations and the real total for May was £178.68. My June savings are £1,629.73, so that brings my yearly total so far to £5,723.58. A bit of catching up to do if I'm going to get to £12K but think I can still do it. :)
