In the spirit of paying myself first, savings contributions for July are as follows (I've updated the easy update form):
DD JISA - £100
DS JISA - £100
Sharesave Scheme - £220
Sharematch Scheme - £30
Personal ISA - £723
July total - £1,173
2020 total - £5,110
Things are picking up now - this is my first month over the £1k mark. I need to average £1,378 a month now to hit my target - think I may need to start selling some stuff or finding some additional income!

Hi everyone, June has been pretty quiet of course so that all helps the saving figures - reporting a healthy £2357.29 for June therefore. July should be a decent figure too...although does anyone else find themselves dreaming about going out for a pub lunch??

Number #52 declaring -£262.94.
Form submitted and will update my signature shortly. It's unlikely I will make my target now but will see how the next few months go before I reduce it.
Luckily the deficit is for a nice reason - we decided to start refurbishing our house and put down a deposit for fitted wardrobes. We have also booked a yurt in the Peak District so have a holiday in July to look forward to.
Hope everyone is coping ok with the unlocking of the lockdown - great to see lots of you are still posting some impressive savings!Save £12K in 2020 #52 £11625.33/£12,0005 -
Congratulations Lomcevak on becoming mortgage free
I'm declaring £1001 for June - higher than I was expecting but the lowest I've saved since March. Saying that if I manage to achieve the same amount in July I'll be very happy.
I'll update the form shortly.Save £12k in 2022 = £3705.97/ £7,500 (49%)

Just submitted our June form. Just over £570. A last minute flurry of spending on our motorhome resulted in about £500 on a refitted showerSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

June update form put in. I am happy with my total, but not as happy as I would have been if my tax rebate had landed in June as I had hoped. That massive chunk will now be in my July savings instead.
If all goes to plan in July, I will be moving all my saved money from my ISA into property equity when I buy my own home. Fingers crossed for me please, I am quite nervous about being a homeowner again.Save £12k in 2025 #33 £2531.77/£5000 (If this carries on I might have to up my target!)

Lomcevak said:#27 reporting in with £3,760.42 for June. Exciting news is that i'm now mortgage-free, 12 years early, and about 8 1/2 years since I first signed up for one of the MFW challenges. Once a bit of short-term expenditure is complete to do some needed decorating and maintenance, the focus now shifts over to FIRE planning - hope to be in a position to make some lifestyle adjustments within the next five years or so.Save £12k in 2025 #33 £2531.77/£5000 (If this carries on I might have to up my target!)

hi all, no. 10 reporting first that I made an idiotic error in my May calculations and the real total for May was £178.68. My June savings are £1,629.73, so that brings my yearly total so far to £5,723.58. A bit of catching up to do if I'm going to get to £12K but think I can still do it.
