Am I able to join in? Been saving each month of 2020 so far and am aiming for at least £12k  :)

Yep! Do you want your target to be £12k? If you do then I'll add you plus if you let me know the other amounts I can update the spreadsheet with those too :)

£1409.21 for June, most of which is LISA bonus. However now un-furloughed so  should be able to save a bit more in July.
Start mortgage date: August 2022; Start mortgage amount: £240,999; Original mortgage free date: August 2056
    Current mortgage amount: £226,957.97
Start student loan 2012: £29,750; current student loan: CLEARED July 2025
  • £2,384.57 for June!!! (Form updated). I’m so proud of myself given I used to only save £100pm last year! Let’s see if I can beat that next month! That’s more than I earn a month from my main job but I save 44% of my payslip then Earned the rest doing side hustles to mean I’m saving more than my salary 🥳

Morning all, #19 reporting in £1356.74 for June. Much less than I had anticipated, even though we had paid for a month trip to the US in March to visit friends, we had to cancel as my son announced his wedding day for March. Cancelling the trip didn't cost anything, contribution to the wedding budget did. Proud that instead of spending tens of thousands they are doing it as frugally as possible and still saving

Hi everyone, hope you're all keeping well and it's nice to see some fellow un-furlough-ees checking in!  I'm reporting £840 for June in the usual proportions (£250 emergency fund, £25 S&S ISA, remainder my own cash savings) - a pretty good month!  I'm not sure about you guys but I'm hoping WFH continues long into the future to some degree - it's saving me a fortune in money and time!

We have started pining for a holiday, and have our eye on something next year, but can't book for another couple of months for various reasons (and then only if decent travel insurance is available).  So I might see a chunk of my savings disappear in a while!

    Happy half way through :)
  • Morning all, reporting £5000 which is about a third 'real'savings and two thirds shares increase. My S&S ISA is now back to start of year level after the disastrous fall in March.

Like bobobski said, I really want a holiday and am fed up of looking at the four walls! But there's no chance of that anytime soon and we just have to keep on keeping on and keeping sensible. I don't really fancy being stuck on a plane for hours with all that recirculating air anyway! :D
