Good Morning everyone,
#51 happy to report £692 for June. One more pay cheque and then enter the murky waters of no job for the summer, joining the millions who have or will be laid off because of Covid. I've now lost my job but with kids at home being home schooled in a way I am happier to focus on one task instead of failing both work and home schooling. Every joint crossed I can pick up a seasonal job in the autumn, a part time job or even a bit of voluntary work (I'm a worker by heart). Sending lots of support out to anyone else in the same or similar boat. Its really difficult times and we can do it!2025 financial goals & challenges!

After having been a homeowner for nearly a year and a half now, I have finally made my first ever mortgage overpayment! Whilst I probably should've started this sooner, I think what has prompted me to start this is seeing my interest rates on my saving accounts continue to fall!
It's crazy to see how much interest I pay per month relative to how much is actually taken from my bank account, looking forward to seeing that monthly interest figure going down in the future as my overpayments really tackle my balance!"If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett
