#72 reporting in for the month of June.
Bit less this month after a few purchases for the house. But we did manage to safe again my wife's full Salary for the month of June. We will be using the money thats "left" over now to send abroad as we are planning to buy an apartment there in a year or two. The currency in her home country is just rly good at the moment and i can imagine that the purchase of houses/apartments price will drop within the next 6 months.
I have now got my emergency fund at 3 months at full Salary, so does my wife. We had to put some additional aside for her next Visa extension which will come up in 1 year (final step, no more after that). But everything else is plus now and we will put that towards the apartment and after I focus more on Building up my SS ISA and house overpayment.
I dont count my Work Pension contributions which is 20 %, SIPP & Lisa contributions bonuses are not included. Last few months my S&S ISA has increased in value as i managed to buy some low stock. This is also not reflected here.
June total for me: £372.60
Year total: £4350.60 / £80003 -

#22 reporting £1630.73 for June. Another good month for me, mainly due to spending very little and having a couple of weekends away cancelled. Form already updated. Hope everybody is staying safe in these difficult times.3

At the moment I'm looking at a loss for July, or a very very modest amount saved - the cat's had an accident and the vet bills are quite expensive. I should be able to claim about half back from the insurance company, which will cover a large chunk that's on the credit card, but July's total will all depend on how quick the payout comes back to me and whether I'll need to recoup from my savings.
Never been so grateful for having savings put aside though! And for this group and forum for keeping me motivated and accountable!Save £12k in 2022 = £3705.97/ £7,500 (49%)

delta13, I am so sorry to hear about your cat. These are the things we save for, but it's still heartbreaking. I hope your furball makes an easy recovery.Save £12k in 2025 #33 £2531.77/£5000 (If this carries on I might have to up my target!)

# 138 checking in, reporting £1000 for July already. I joined this thread in February but haven't been able to save anything so far. I was fuloughed for three months and decided to get some outdoor jobs done on the smallholding, which ended up costing a fair amount. Finally back to work in a new job with a higher salary and can now start saving but have had to lower my savings goal from £10k to £5k.
Managed to put away £1000 yesterday for July after all forecast bills accounted for. Have updated the spreadsheet for the last few months.8 -
