I found and counted £4 in copper in a jar today. Need to get some bank money bags so I can deposit it.

  • Been looking forward to this moment for a good few weeks, as the direct debits are leaving the joint account we would like to record our amount for January, we might have a small amount left at the end of the month as well if we stick to our plan of having a quiet January.

    #26 - January amount = £1431 deposited into 4x regular savers, 2x S&S ISAs and 1x savings account.

It needs to be a big year for us savings wise as we have just completed major renovation work at home and have more starting 2021.
  • Happy new year everyone!

Just added up all my savings pots, so I'm starting January with £29.72 :j Just hoping that I can get that up to around £300 by the end of the month so I can meet my target.

I've decided to alter my rules for this year. We have never separated our savings into long/short-term pots, and it has always worked perfectly. So I will be counting our total savings from end of January. Target still 24000
