Hi everyone, I'm a long-time lurker on this thread and I feel the time is now right to signup.  I'm debt free, mortgage free and have savings but would like more as I'm now thinking of early retirement in a few years.  So, if a 2021 thread goes ahead I'd like to save £15k.  Thanks!
  • It’s been a pretty expensive year for me but I’ve managed to save just over half my £9000 goal, I’m definitely up for doing it again next year and hopefully hit the target.
    £17750 in 3 years saved 😁
    Mortgage Start - £188,714 | Overpayments Made - £0
  • I have just done the update form for November, but I don't have my payslip for December yet to see what I can save this month.
I have however made my first ever mortgage overpayment this month! I just sent £10 across as a test, but I also asked for my direct debit to be rounded up from January. Less than £25 in overpayment monthly, but it will take nearly 4 years off my term. At that rate I will just about repay before I collect state pension!
I am another who would like to be part of save £12k in 2021. I missed signing up early last year as I was on holiday, so I've been looking out for it this year.
Save £12k in 2025 #33 £2531.77/£5000 (If this carries on I might have to up my target!)
April take lunch to work goal - 3 of 12
  • I'd like to join again for next year please Slowly Fading, if you run it again.  Number 40 currently.  I'll have a think about what my target should be, as we have a baby due in a few months!  It's nice to have savings in preparation for maternity pay.
My December form will be submitted by the end of December.  Thanks SF and everyone, the thread has been a nice bit of normality this year.
  • Hi
#71 reporting in. That’s my lot for the year so can you finalise my figures. Been tough year and I’ve def stretched as much as I could with each pay packet so I’m pleased with my progress. Thanks
    On a mission!

Just checking-in to see what the Totaliser spreadsheet is saying for everything saved since this thread started in 2012...and we're just £43k short of a cool Ten Million!! Can we get there before the end of 2020, people?
