The main article referred to a change in the Ts & Cs for Three's Mix and Match 1100 due to come in to force on 11 December. I'm not aware of this. Does anyone have the details?0

They also reminded me that my phone had a two year guarantee and as I only had used it for one year it still had a year to run.
I would only get 300 anytime minutes and 150 texts.
isayoldchap, that sounds ideal for me! My contract has ended with 3 now, and I am just rolling on paying the £35 per month. I was originally on a cashback deal which was ok, though I like you would like to save the hassles and just pay the £5 per month - which is the same price I am paying for insurance now! :S
Do you think I will be able to get teh same deal? My current contract is 400mins and 250 txts. Did you call to cancel and then they opted to give you that deal?
Thanks,"The future needs a big kiss"0 -

edited to add that i've found my letter detailing the changes...call charges rounded up to a minute etc. But how does this help us cancel our contracts?0 -
arh just found three's t & C
4. Variations to your agreement or prices
4.1 We may vary any of the terms of your agreement, including your Price Plan on the following basis:
(a) Any updated Price Plans and new terms will be available on our website and on request to 3
Customer Services;
(b) We will let you know at least one month in advance if we decide to discontinue your Price Plan or if we make any variations to your agreement, which are likely to be of detriment to you. You can end the agreement for such variations as explained in Section 10; and c) if you carry on using 3 Services after the variation commences, you will be deemed to have accepted the variation.
4.2 If we offer a range of Price Plans, you may change from your Price Plan to one of a selected range of other Price Plans on such terms as agreed with us.
(10d) Within one month of a detrimental variation to your agreement. You can end the agreement within one month of us telling you about a variation to your agreement (which includes your Price Plan) which is likely to be of detriment to you. You must give written notice to 3 Customer Services within that month and your agreement will finish 30 days after we receive your notice. (A Cancellation Fee will not be charged.)
arrh but they told me about the changed on the 2nd november - have i missed my opportunity! :-(</B>0 -

Sorry I didn't pick up your post earlier on here
Anyway 11 months into my contract I phoned them nice people at '3' and gave my notice to leave. They promptly offered me the £5 per month deal(back in September this was).
Unsure whether they will be as generous now.Push them.
Never ever change you contract though as this will invalidate your cashback,
but you can tell them what you want to do so tha they know your intentions
IM me for any further information you may require.0 -

seems they are not being so nice any more. no chance of getting a £5 month contract at the moment."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0 -
just had a call from three.
they are willing to offer me a £10 a month tariff, talk and text 600.
500 calls and 100 text a month.
18 month tariff.
free SE K800i.
i decided to take the offer."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0 -

That's the same response I got. I was very polite, and told them about the other offers. The best they would offer me was approx £19 a month on the same deal with new phone. I'm happy to stay on the same deal and retain my old phone.
I asked for my PAC code, which was supposed to be sent within 24hrs via text message. Needless to say it's been a week and no PAC - think I'll call and be a bit more stern. This might persuade them to be a bit more negotiable.
....we'll see."The future needs a big kiss"0 -

I had got the £5 deal back in Sept consisting of 300m and 100 text a month on a 12 month deal keeping my existing phone(still under guarantee)
Your deal was also offered to me.
If some of you can wait maybe the Christmas/New Year deals could be a little
better.Remember the Cancellations Dept will be enticing you to stay,so your call should be transferred to them. It shouldn't be the sales dept giving you the deal.0 -
Just wanted to update and say that i managed to cancel my Mix and Match 1100 contract with three

VERY pleased thankyou MSE :T0
