Oh dear beanielou! I'm sorry to hear that. My lunch wasn't fantastic but at least it was free. The work canteen does it every year, offers a roast turkey lunch with wine. I'm not a huge fan of turkey or brussel sprouts but overall it was pretty nice really. Pudding you did have to pay for but when I asked about it the lady said "happy Christmas" and just gave it to me, plus an extra glass of wine! I can't complain. Why was yours so bad, or would you rather not say at this point?
Everything was just dire.
Couldent get parked at first.
The food was cold.
There was not enough room at the table...........
Blah blah.

Today was meant to be day 7 but I've been informed by the OH that his friends have invited us for dinner this evening, so that's gone out the window and I'm still on 6/12. However I won't be spending any money over the weekend, so come Monday evening I should be on 8, or even fingers crossed - 9! Will let you know how it goes.
Away for the weekend now, hope everyone has a good one and it's not too stressful just before Christmas!Save £12k in 2022 = £3705.97/ £7,500 (49%)
