Oh dear beanielou! I'm sorry to hear that. My lunch wasn't fantastic but at least it was free. The work canteen does it every year, offers a roast turkey lunch with wine. I'm not a huge fan of turkey or brussel sprouts but overall it was pretty nice really. Pudding you did have to pay for but when I asked about it the lady said "happy Christmas" and just gave it to me, plus an extra glass of wine! I can't complain. Why was yours so bad, or would you rather not say at this point? :(

    Everything was just dire.
    Couldent get parked at first.
    The food was cold.
There was not enough room at the table...........
    Blah blah.
    Shudders.

Spendy day for me today - I have to get some mince pies and nuts at lunchtime. That should be it, I hope. :)

Today was meant to be day 7 but I've been informed by the OH that his friends have invited us for dinner this evening, so that's gone out the window and I'm still on 6/12. However I won't be spending any money over the weekend, so come Monday evening I should be on 8, or even fingers crossed - 9! Will let you know how it goes. :)
Away for the weekend now, hope everyone has a good one and it's not too stressful just before Christmas!
