  • December is a challenging month for NSDs! I managed one yesterday but it fell apart a bit today with some last minute (non-budgeted) spends :eek: And daughter's MOT tomorrow so who knows what that will cost me! Anyway, I've limped to 10 NSD's with 5 to go so it may be possible if I stop getting giddy!

    Oh dear beanielou! I'm sorry to hear that. My lunch wasn't fantastic but at least it was free. The work canteen does it every year, offers a roast turkey lunch with wine. I'm not a huge fan of turkey or brussel sprouts but overall it was pretty nice really. Pudding you did have to pay for but when I asked about it the lady said "happy Christmas" and just gave it to me, plus an extra glass of wine! I can't complain. Why was yours so bad, or would you rather not say at this point? :(
