And it's Friday!!! Yay!
Sleep has been fleeting this week as its just too hot and really feeling the tiredness nowHowever temps around me look like they are dropping and the air is definitely fresher this morning so I live in hope I will get a tidy nights sleep soon, i'm guessing everyone else is the same.
Moneywise I have managed to save £15 per month on my car insurance (didn't have enough to pay the year up front so its another year of monthly payments) and that £15 has already been diverted to my savings via standing order before it can just become lost.
Car MOT on Monday where I found it very strange that if I had booked an 11am slot the cost was higher than the 2pm slot I did book.....can't understand the logic myself by saved £5 there haha, now just have to hope it doesn't need anything/much doing to it.
I think there was something else I had that I wanted to report but if there is its gone - if it comes back then I will update as soon as I remember before I forget again
Hope everyone is surviving the heat and enjoying any storms that have been around, love a good storm!

Heat has broken here thank god! Good luck with the MOT. My cars used to cruise through, but since it been really tightened up there is always something that needs doing.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2

Annnnnnddddd we are back to Monday!
Saturday was a washout for me, rained pretty much all day so just got some bits done around the house and may have had a nap to try and catch up on some of the sleep I lost last week. Yesterday was much better and got lots done.
Day of dread today with the car going for its MOT, im pretty sure the exhaust is blowing (but not sure if im just being over sensitive) so I suspect i'm going to have to fork over some monies
Im racking my brain to see if theres anything else interesting to report.....but there is not, sorry to readers but its just not exciting at the moment......
Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend though

Everything crossed for you MOT. I always imagine there are things went with my car. It is making a random creaking sound. I just turn up the radio 😂 although I haven't managed a service this year due to financial constraints with the possible move.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2

Well I was not imagining that exhaust was noisy, needs a new exhaust and radiator
Booked back in for the work on Friday, this is far from ideal but I have (just) got the money to cover it.
So now I need to save to get a newer car before the MOT next year as I don't want to spending out on it again but if it gives me another year I'll be happy.

Welcome to Monday!
Just realised I didn't update on Friday, oops! Think I was too distracted by keeping my fingers crossed that the car passed the MOT, good news it did
Pay day tomorrow so shall see some progress on Wednesday when payments come out so that's all good, need to start building funds again though, between boiler and car repairs I'm wiped out
Generally a good weekend, weather not great Saturday but did some ground playing with the horse and then got him out for a ride yesterday, a friend of mine was changing her sofa's and asked me did I want the two seater one for free, as mine was pretty much knackered and no longer comfortable (I think I've mentioned it previously) I said yes please! The sofa is immaculate and now happily in its place, my other friends husband picked it up as he has a van and without me asking had booked a slot at the tip to take my old one for me, I am lucky in that I do have some very good friends
Also met a very nice chap for a walk and coffee Saturday evening...…so will have to see where that goes.
I do like starting the week on a positive note!
Hope you all had a nice weekend too, will be diary reading throughout the morning

Fantastic news re the sofa 😁 does that mean you are definitely saving up for a new mattress. As someone who is hitting middle age, being comfy on the sofa and in bed is a priority 😂
And congratulations on you car passing the MOT. It's always a bit of an apprehensive and stressful wait!Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2
