Haha thanks @EchoB, WFH is good that I don't have to see them, the minus point is normally after a day of them annoying me I rant at them which is easy face to face …..not so much over skype
I'll get over it though, certainly not by eating this week
DIY spends are a nuisance but I haven't spent any money on the house for a couple of years so its well due...….and is keeping me out of mischief most of the time

Yes, my gardening spends are a little over what I would like. But I have never had the spare cash to do anything with the garden any other year so......
Sorry to hear you are having a tough time at work. Hubby was off last week and really struggled to get up and log in this morning. I think the novelty of wfh is really wearing off now.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉1 -
Unfortunately its very easy to spend when you've build up momentum on sorting something out
But we will both have nice gardens to sit and enjoy the fruits of our labour
Its not so much the WFH aspect with me its the attutude of my co-worker.......but deep breathes and swearing at the screen seem to be working
No nawty things eaten so far this week, must remain good!

Well done on the diet.
Hubby's coworkers are a bit drai nong at times too. Having had the privilege of listening to a couple of his meetings I have no idea how he stays awake in them, or doesn't just shout at people! 😂Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2 -

Welcome to Friday everyone!
A normal week for me, horse, work, horse, some relaxing time, sleep repeat......This is probably an unpopular opinion but I am actually enjoying this time. I am a bit of an introvert and had a meeting in work that was all around how you feel in these times and how to perform etc and it did make me think (it's rare that I fully self reflect). The questions asked provoked me enough to realise that having all this time away from social interactions is doing me the world of good, I'm not feeling mentally drained on a weekend which is allowing me the energy to do stuff around the house and garden properly which then in turn helps lift my mood. I have fully realised that working on a team of men there is a lot of banter and this drains me, as much as I enjoy it (for the most part) it really does take it out of me so I will really need to think through how I will transition back to the full office environment if/when we go back.
Obviously I don't only socialise in work (I'm not a hermit I promise!) but these are limited to just seeing the folks up the farm when I go up to the horse at the moment and I can see that has an impact as well, i'm getting enough time between seeing people to recharge fully so I need to remember to recognise that I need proper time to myself to just be me, myself and I in the future.
Sorry for the self indulgent waffling but in writing that here I'm hoping that when I read back through (which I do around once a month) I will take the prompts that this will give me as a reminder.
Moneywise not much else to report, just over a week to pay day, enough monies to see me through although not enough to go scouting for the masonry paint I need to do the second coats but that can wait till I get paid as I have a week off work then and will be the ideal time to do it (if I can find paint).
This weekend will be horse, weekly shopping and general tidying around the house and garden.....I may be forced into actually sorting my bedroom out properly
Weather is looking nice with me for the weekend but (again not a popular opinion) I would quite like to see a good dose of rain, the fields for the horses need it and the yard isn't on mains water and relies on rain to keep the streams and tanks topped up and its all starting to get a bit low - i'm not quite at rain dance stage but might have to resort to that soon!
Hope you all have something nice planned, even if its just allowing yourselves an hour to sit an relax, visit another room to normal or make something indulgent for food

Just wanted to pop in and say I'm also almost at the rain dance stage, our fields are so hard at the moment too!
Horses are wonderful creatures, even though I'm not doing much with mine at the moment he's my constant in this world of crazy!

Hope you're keeping well and continue to do so, and that everyone doesn't shout at us for wanting rain

I would like some rain so that my garden can grow a bit! It’s always good to have a bit of rain, then sun. So I’m definitely not going to shout if you do a rain dance!3
