It's strange how when I started addressing the debt properly I never thought I'd start seeing results as quickly as I have and it really does spur me onto getting debt free quicker, knowing a worst case and best case helps I think. Two years is a long time and things can change so I think you'll get to debt free mid 2022
I am refusing to put on weight during this lock down, if I don't buy the niccies I cant eat themdoesn't mean I don't want them and would happily munch chocolate all day if I could! I just think weirdly that the lock down is helping me as I don't have as much access to the little snacks that I would if I was in work...…...oh now I want chocolate
have a fab week too, hope your weather forecast is better than mine, its now showing rain pretty much non stop till the weekend for me …..why can't it just be polite and just rain overnight????

Well I may lose some this week as I am feeling determined. Only one small slice of cake after dinner, smaller portions, lots of water and no snacking! 😂 Once I have lost a bit I can knock the cake on the head completely. My self employed job is pretty physical so am missing out on that too atm. But my trousers are so tight and I will not buy the next size up (already a size bigger than I want to be) so a wake up call.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2

Thanks for the optimism! I’ll try my best 😁
I blame the OH for my “snaccidents” when I was single I didn’t buy naughty food so I didn’t eat naughty food!
Lots of rain forecast here too ☹️2 -
as long as you don't send the lost weight my way DAL!
I get you with the not buying the next size up, I got to that point and thought nope, cant do it, possibly because I hate buying new clothes
"snaccidents"! literally my new favourite word!!!

Welcome to Friday everyone!!!
Really not much for me to report though, have been working and sorting the horse out that's about it...…..very boring update!
Other than £38 all bills have gone out so I can see exactly where I am money wise and for the second month in a row all bills (pretty much) have gone and i'm still in credit, this is a very novel feeling
Nothing exciting planned for the weekend, try and get some more paint to do second coats on the garden walls, normal house worky stuff and the ponio who should be loving life in a field for of grass from Sunday!
Sorry its a short boring one, times is what they is …...
Have a fab weekend though all

Very true DAL.....
Another Monday and another non exciting update. Money is all good, couldn't get the paint I needed to do the second coat on my garden walls as there was non in stock but horse is happy as he is in a field full of grass now, although he was a very full sleepy boy last night
managed to eek another lb off this week, yay! so at least on thing has gone down
really not much else to report though, hoping to cash out on PA as just about at the £5 threshold but waiting on a few to be approved...….did shove all my stuff to the back of my garage as my neighbour has asked can keep his motorbike in there and will pay me so need to catch him today to say there is now room (albeit I still need to give it a good clean up and throw stuff out!). If he does pay me ill put it straight off debt
well its nice and sunny with me this morning already although its chilly so I hope its as nice for the rest of you.
off to catch up on what other have been up to over the weekend, have a lovely week

How's your week going?Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2

Morning all!
Apologies for my tardiness......logged onto work a bit later than normal this morning so only now getting a chance to have a nosey on here.
For normal stuff my week was good last week DAL thanks (will be popping over to your diary next to see how your week was...)......work wise I wasn't feeling it at all and must confess I may have eaten a lot of stuff I should not haveI have ended up putting on 2lbs this week! In fairness that's not a bad result seeing as from Tuesday last week I have eaten cakes/chocolate/biscuits and pastries as though they were my main food groups!! So annoyed with myself but I do know that I eat bad stuff to cover feelings sometimes and as I was super frustrated with work I know that's what I was covering
I am still not feeling the work vibes and despite being all optimistic this morning it did not take long for someone to annoy me again and put me back in the same feelings this week but I will not be eating this week....I've worked too hard to allow a co-worker to derail me
This is why I didn't do my normal Friday update, I just couldn't face logging onto the laptop at all Friday....I needed the days out in the garden to play and reset.
My garden is finally looking like somewhere I can sit an relax a bit more as I was super productive on the weekend and strimmed grass, pulled weeds, swept and painted all the hand rails/railings so it all looks so much nicer, shopping was done, horse was ridden and housework completed.
Moneywise I am doing ok although in my mission to paint I may have spent a little more on paint than I should have this month......oops! but if I do it now I haven't got to worry over the coming months so I just need to behave now until pay day to make sure I don't end up short for food/petrol.
If I eat bad stuff and don't get rid of at least that gained 2lb next week you all have permission to shout at me ……..must be good!!!
Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend and if you did any street party things I hope everyone enjoyed and didn't go too crazy
Have a great week, I will absolutely update this Friday...scouts honour

I’m sorry to hear about your work being frustrating/stressful. Hopefully your week will improve. At least with WFH you don’t have to see your annoying colleagues!
I can relate to eating bad stuff when work/life isn’t going well (hence my lockdown gains) you’ve been doing so well though, fingers crossed things calm down for you.
Your weekend sounds super productive and it’s good that you got out on the horse.
i always find house spends/DIY tend to always creep over budget 😱 good luck with having a frugal rest of month 🤞2
