Good morning everyone!
Apologies for my tardiness, I just couldn't bring myself to sit in front of the computer while I was off work, the weather was just too nice so I spent most of last week up the yard with the horse and painting my garden wall.
@StartingAgainAt29 and @Drawingaline, I don't blame either of you for splurging on the extra bits of chocolate, if I could I would have but actually discovered I do have a smidgen of will power
Not a spendy week last week other than buying the masonry paint for my wall but the money was there and my garden now looks 100 times better so well worth it.
Back to work this week for mesitting staring at a screen all day will be a harsh reality for me today, although I guess I really shouldn't complain when some people aren't able to work and have that distraction.
Not much else to report, another 2lbs off this week whoop whoop, decided if I can get another stone off i'll be happy (I think) so need to keep being good with my eatings……..pay day Friday so will be able to update debt figures, target debt 3 will be gone and it'll be on to number 4
Will definitely be catching up on diaries today, can see there is lots to read so expect random comments everywhere
Have a nice day all

Well done on the 2lbs, you’re doing super, I am putting weight on. Lockdown means I am baking and cooking more and also boredom eating. I need to take inspiration from you!It sounds like you had a productive week. Hope the return to work isn’t too bad.
looking forward to seeing your update on Friday.
Have a good week x2 -
Thanks @EchoB, trust me if I bought snacks I would be boredom eating and would be seeing the weight rise a lot more rapidly than its come off! Luckily I am a rubbish cook and don't have all the tins etc to bake (and refuse to buy them) so other than 0% yogurt there is nothing that I can munch on
So far work morning has passed quick, hopefully that's a good sign.
Have a good week too

I am a rubbish cook, but baking is totally my thing. Hope I run out of flour soon, then I will have a reason to stop 😂

Happy Friday all !!!
Today is payday for me so target loan 3 has now been settledI am two months ahead of where I thought I would be and the snowball payments are now getting bigger so it all seems like it is moving, I am a happy little bunny today
It's nice to be able to post some movement although time seems to have passed quite quickly since my last pay day, I'm wondering if that's because I actually had money left over and wasn't counting the days
Not much other news to report, work is work, hoping to get some more painting down on the weekend (second coat needed an my garden walls, hoping it will go on quicker now though!), time to be spent with the ponio and general house stuff. Highly exciting I know ……..
Tomorrow is my celebration/cheat meal day but I can't decide what to have (other than I know dessert will be some kind of cake) which is weird as the last two weeks I knew what I wanted by the Tuesday and then drooled at the thought of it all week
Off to move around the bits of money I need to now, some more into emergency fund, some towards a new boiler and will need to book for new tyres for the car, two are at the limit and one appears to have a slow puncture so may see if there are any offers on getting all four changed if it works out cheaper
I hope you have all had a good week, I have had lovely sun in my neck of the woods which makes sitting out in my lunch hour hard to go back into the house....
Hope you are all (I am aware the use of all is very optimistic in that I have quite a few readers...) safe and well and have a nice weekend

Wow that’s awesome progress! Do you have a debt free date?
I’ve got 6 days until payday (maybe my countdown means I’ve run out of cash 😂)
I definitely need to work on an EF given the current situation we are all in.
Good luck with the tyres, they always seem to sneak up on me (obviously I need to improve my budgeting skills!).
My Boiler is on the *cough* mature side and I’m praying it has a year or two left before I have to replace it.
Have a great weekend.

I swear you are giving me your weight, you lose it, I gain it 😂
Well done on another debt cleared. Enjoy the painting, I will also be doing that today, need to finish the boys room and think about starting the dreaded gloss.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2 -
Happy Monday morning everyone!!!
@EchoB my worst case scenario debt free date is June 23, (mainly due to the pesky old credit card) but my plan is to have it all paid by end of 21...…..my boiler is also on the "cough" mature side and has been kept going the last two years by alternate asking it nicely and giving it a good slap …..Tyres will be done today, got a mobile chap coming as no appointments available at the local tyre place so whilst it's an expense not needed it is now an expense that I can deal with, which means progress which goes into the "yippee" pot.
@Drawingaline hang on now, everyone seems to be saying I've given them the weight I've lostif it helps I didn't lose this week, boo, but I didn't gain so that's a plus and you should be safe
Painting the walls was completed even though they do all need a second coat grrr, spent lots of time with the ponio and even had a cheeky little sun bathe on Saturday after I finished painting (might have fallen asleep and possibly woke myself up having a little snore...…..). This month will be getting more paint to do the second coats outside before I start inside....as you've had the practice now DAL do you fancy coming and doing mine????
Have laughed this morning as had the summary of borrowing from the loan I just cleared and two seconds later another email saying "hey you can now borrow up to £1000, log in to apply now!", said email promptly deleted but just shows how easy it is to get dragged back in.
Looks like we are getting some rain with me this week which is pants in terms of doing stuff out the garden but does mean the fields will get some much needed moisture and should allow the horse to be turned out into the summer fields, nicer for him, money saving for me as feed reduces woo hoo!
well time to update my spreadsheet with the payments that have gone out so far for this month and get on with some work...….bit first another coffee
Hope you all had a good weekend and are going to have a great week

Hope you can get onto summer turnout ASAP! It definitely makes life easier when they are out more :-)
Well done on painting the wall, it’s always the way when things need a second coat!
Typical of the loan company offering you another loan immediately after you’ve paid it off.
How amazing will it feel being debt free 18 months earlier than your worst case plan?! I would like to be debt free by mid 2022, the loan I’m currently not overpaying runs to Dec 2023, so that will be a challenge!!!!! Hoping I can bring it forward. I can’t imagine how good it will feel to save my debt repayments, looking forward to that time.
My weight is on an upward trajectory at the moment! Lockdown is making me eat chocolate 😂
have a great week x2
