#93 - I've made another £80 overpayment this morning. Just getting fed up of the mortgage still being so large. Every penny counts, right?! I figure with UK lockdown again this month we're saving at least this much on petrol costs, right?! 😬
This brings me to £200 for the month now.
Thanks for updating. 😊Original mortgage total: £140,000.00 (July 2015) Original mortgage end date: June 2040

@OhtobeMortgageFree every penny does count. I'm trailing to the railway station, where my shifts allow, to travel by train into work as it is cheaper than me driving by car. The car is much more convenient and sometimes I'm at work an hour earlier than I need to be and also I'm there an hour later than I need to be due to connections. But it saves me a couple of quid each day which seems like nothing but I immediately transfer it into the mortgage account. I'm currently owing 168k on my mortgage but my husband and I have no dependent children and we work every single hour we can just to get that mortgage chucked. I know it seems like a slog but every pound chopped off now is one pound less to find a couple of decades down the line. Plus, it is really good to see updates regardless of how much is paid.6
