  • #93 checking in with another £10 to add to my October total please. That's £65 for the month so far. It's not looking like I'll be able to overpay a huge amount more this month though unfortunately. I left my nights job last month as it was becoming too much working all night and being Mum to a toddler all day. I've been doing odd bits of freelance work instead but it doesn't come to anywhere close as much as I was earning, and we've bought all of our Christmas presents for family this month as well in case we can't travel to see them closer to December.
    Such a crazy year this year. 😢

    I have been AWOL for the last four months because I've been out at sea. But I have still been making my overpayments and have the below to be added into the spreadsheet:

    Number 90 with another October overpayment of £428.33 which brings the October overpayment pot to £928.33.  I’ve hit my target but I’ve got some repaying of cash into savings accounts so I’ll have to do some re calculations over November.  I’ve managed to reach my mortgage renewal amount I was aiming for of £49,950 which is £30k off my original mortgage in 5 years.  New rate kicks in on 1st November which will save me about £95 a month on the standard payment 😁

  • Number 37 just confirming our total mortgage payments for the year are £17,193.23 (+£95 redemption fee) which completely clears our mortgage and exceeds the £15,000 target for the year. Thanks juliecorn

    Received inheritance money In September, so additional £10,000 added.
    September = £10,636.78
    October = £508.24

    Also please can you increase my target by £10,000.
