If you have no hearing date, you wait.  If you have a hearing date set ages ago, the court will send an order to tell you what to do nearer the time, if it converts to a telephone hearing.

i Have now received a letter from the court which says this -

    IT IS ORDERED THAT -
    1. the hearing listed for 23 june 2020  is adjourned and will take place by remote hearing
2.Matter is re-listed for 6th July 2020 at 2:00pm via BTMeet Me. The parties to file contact details by 30 June 2020
    3. The court proceeds on the basis that all evidence relied upon has been sent to the court and the other side in accordance with previous directions. Evidence not served on the other side may be disregarded by the court.
    4. This order having been made by the court of its own initiative any party affected by it may apply to have it set aside, varied or stayed within 7 days of service of the order pursuant to CPR 3.3(5)(6)

So judging by this i do not need to send a bundle to the court and they will have all the documents that i have previously sent both the court and Gladstones?

Yes but to be sure, I would actually take the chance to attach electronic copies of your defence, costs summary, WS and evidence to yuor email that gives the court your phone number!   May as well, to avoid possible missed evidence the court hasn't put in the file for the Judge...

You can always say, with the Claim number -TELEPHONE HEARING ON 6TH JULY AT 2PM in the subject line:

I am the Defendant and have received the court's order dated  xx/xx/xx setting out details of a remote hearing.  I confirm that all documents I am relying upon were filed & served in time but in case it assists the court to have an electronic copy of my bundle, as well as the paper one, it is attached.  My phone number for the hearing is xxxxxxxxxxx.

I am just trying to mentally prepare myself for the court case, just out of interest what could be the worst eventuality?

If i lost the case would i just have to pay the original amount or could I have to end up paying more on top?

23 pages of this thread and 6 months of advice. Have you read other threads where the likely costs of losing at court are reiterated ..... ad nauseam?  They're liberally dotted across the forum almost every week.

Please, you must read other threads than your own, it's the best way of staying ahead of the game and beating the PPC trying to filch money from your wallet. Are you following any other threads?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

unfortunately I dont have time to read every thread/ every comment as I have a young family/kids plus work commitments so I have been dipping in and out when required to produce each stage of the process but as this process has been going on since last year keeping track of everything on this forum and maintaining absolutely everything I have read is not possible, apologies for this I was only asking a very general question

Due to COvid my costs summary will slightly differ to the one i submitted in my original witness statement, should i provide an updated one when i send all of my documents to the judge or leave as is?

Yes and sign and date it and include a copy wage slip if you are having to take a half day (or an enforced whole day?) off.    And email a copy to the Claimants.
