I thought that only High Court Enforcement officers or bailiffs could enter a person's house after the creditor had obtained a County Court Judgement and permission from Court.  I thought that there was also a minimum amount (£600.00).

This letter is tantamount to harassment.  They are making out that they are going to enter the property by the mention of the Covid guidelines. What sharp, disgusting practice.

They are sending out these letters to people who they might tip over the edge. They are really rotten to the core.

I'm sure there'd be no conscience over an odd suicide or two, as long as the rest pay them quickly!  It's only ever about the money.

This is why regulation by the FCA is needed. I did comment on the consultation regarding this. PPC's are very much against regulation by the FCA as evidenced by their comments. It must happen though and that letter proves exactly why.  This needs to go higher.

Whilst I agree with the last few posts, this needs to be on its own thread.  We have diverted attention away from the OP @Piffpop.  The person who posted the letter @ROBG_3 has been advised to do so.

You are right Le-Kirk, easy to get carried away.  Delay was due to I noticed on BBC catchup in the films section, there was "Summer Holiday"  ..... went to see the film as a teenie so I just spent the last 90 mins watching it and no mention of covid.  Pure delight.

Anyways, I have still to reply to Sir Greg for his assuring letter and will include that disgusting Elms letter that as Umkomaas said could easily lead to a suicide. British Gas learned a very expensive lesson years ago over threatograms, an elderly couple killed themselves.

Now, whilst capable of sending these letters, I would welcome any points from others on here to include.  Just send a PM
God knows how many of these letters are going out so let's make sure the powers know what's going on.

I agree that this should be on a new thread.

It's easy to get carried away.  I still cannot get over the judgment in the case of the disabled veteran in Wales. That leaves a very bad taste in the mouth. I hope that he is appealing.

This will be my last post on this thread unless I reply to the OP.
