They are not the full shilling, they give the impression, or they try to, of being solicitors. Did you think that they were?

I guess all in all, we must assume that the circus is back in town3

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

"Oh, what a tangled web they weave, when first they practice to deceive!"
What an odd little virus Elms and SRS are ? Do they really believe the rubbish they spout ? SEEMS SO2 -
Elms has one director and he was the "in house" solicitor for VCS. So similar to Jake Burgess.
There is £1.00 share capital. This is the type of company that would not need a huge amount of start up capital especially if they have a ready made regular income stream.
A person can be a non shareholding director. I have seen this before when a person is appointed as a non shareholding director because they have expertise in their field. I use the word "expertise" very loosely in this case.
Whatever the set up is there is something in it for SRS even if just a kickback or mate's rates.

Anyone have any idea weather I should pay it or not.

That is atrocious. They make it sound like a bailiff is coming knocking and have deliberately conflated pandemic social distancing with the phrase: ''we will...visit your address in line with Government requirements''.
Keep our fingers crossed that the underclass of 'debt recovery' impersonators ends up with the FCA breathing down their necks as a result of the new Act and statutory CoP framework.
That letter is bad enough for anyone to receive but to a person that is vulnerable that is dreadful. That they can get away with this beggars belief. No checks in place as to whether the recipient is vulnerable.
The new CoP must introduce some means for these companies to be regulated by the FCA.
The poster should email a copy of that letter to their MP and request that it is forwarded to Robert Jenrick.

This is the sort of behaviour TV LIcencing used to use, perhaps they still do. Lots of videos on U Tube from people giving them stick.

of course, but not forgetting an offshore holding company ?
Whatever the connection, SRS should be telling Elms to stop sending out rubbish letters
If you remember in the Nottingham case, before the court case, Elms sent the OP a letter saying she had a CCJ against her for the same case. Of course the OP did not
Upon seeing the letter, the judge asked the Elms lady rep what she knew about the letter, she did not know and the judge said it was disgusting and kicked Elms out of court. The rep was last heard and seen screaming at someone down the phone
So, anyone receiving such junk letters from Elms threatening doorstep collection must show this complete ignorance to a judge3
