I bought some beauty products in BOOTS in past month with the points events. and I collected a few points. but now BOOTS withdraw all of points and withdraw my advantage cards as well. obviously there staffs tried to sell more products to clients and then this company withdraw your points. I don't want to say How disgusting this company is. Currently I want to refund some products which purchased within 35 days. But BOOTS tried to find lots of reasons to say no.Anyone could provide me any ideas? Could I return those products back to BOOTS despite my advantage card's been withdrawn by them?0

their t&cs state
Boots can take any action it considers appropriate, including removing or suspending a Boots Advantage Card account and points accrued if we have reason to believe you are abusing the scheme or associated clubs and offers

I was told I bought too many things and not for personal use. The point is that I walked in BOOTS for shopping, No any staff members told me how many I can buy. even they said we have to split to multiple transactions because we have the policy can't sell more products in one transaction. They are very enthusiastic to encourage you buying more (I think most people understand what I'm talking). Should I say "Stop doing that, you should not sell more products to me"? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I'm just a customer. I walk in any shops, I pay the money to buy the products if your staffs don't say no, right? Do I have to learn your shop's policy and provide the further education to your staffs? maybe I should say "Please stop selling products to me, you already sold me too many, please stop stop stop....":D:D:D0

Thanks for your reply. I don't want to argue with them about Advantage card, I just want to refund the products. I talked to them. even they admitted their staff members should not sell many products to me. if their staff members have fault, why customers should take responsibility.0

You have no right to a change of mind return for items purchased in store, so if Boots say no then that's that.
If you've violated the terms of the Advantage Card scheme (and it seems likely that you have) then they've no way to refund you the points in any case.0 -
So you are implying that their staff forced you to buy more of something than you wanted?
Or is it more likely you wanted to buy lots of a special offer item (star gift maybe) and sell them on for a profit only to realise you can't actually make as much from them as you hoped. They caught on to your scheme and cancelled your advantage card and now you want your money back for the items you can't sell for a profit.....am I close?0 -

You have no right to a refund.
You chose to buy all those products. The staff clearly told you they cannot put that many points through on one transaction and had to split them. You chose to go ahead - they didn’t force you.
BOOTS have clearly had a look at this transaction and decided that you have clearly been misusing the points system and buying more than would be considered a personal transaction.
Why do you now no longer want the beauty items? I’m curious as to what you bought!?!?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

There's nothing "disgusting" about BOOTS' actions. You were greedy and got caught out.0 -
OP has been taking Advantage and Boots have given them a red card!0
