Keeping Going For My Furbabies

Hey everyone, thought I'd post as I've been up all night and bored...long story is I've come to a&e as I was going to have to wait weeks for an MRI even though they thought I might have a brain tumour. I've been here since 9pm last night, have had a CT scan as they don't do overnight MRIs. I've been admitted so I can have an MRI this morning and talk to the neuro team. They think it's either a mass or an illness like MS. Will update once I know more.

Delurking to say I'm sorry to read of your health problems, I really hope you get answers soon. I had a swollen optic nerve a few years ago and ended up having scans and seeing a neurologist, they initially thought it was Intercranial Hypertension but I got the all clear thankfully. It was a really scary time. Best wishes to you, from one momma of 2 boys cats to another.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments, they really do mean a lot. I'm still waiting for the team to come and take me for the MRI. Sadly it would make a lot of sense if it was something like MS, I have a lot of the symptoms and I have family history of immune issues on both sides. I think today will definitely be a write-off but has to be done doesn't it. The nurses have all been really lovely which helps as I'm on my own as per COVID guidelines. I just want to know my eyesight is going to come back 😔Nov 19 CC was: £1334.95 Now: £0!! 1% challenge - 100% Savings:£300.83February take lunch to work: 19/18

Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
