Thanks for popping in Vandanfc cats are amazing.

Won £25 on Premium Bonds taking total to £28525.

Booked airport hotel and parking £147 best price I could get for 11 days and night before. Was over £200 on some sites for same hotel. Staying at the actual terminal we’re flying from Dg has never done it and we want to make the most of our lounge before flying.

Holiday plans are looking good TG.  Have you booked the kitties into their Hotel or is someone coming in to look after them whilst you are away?

Cleaner is feeding the cats hopefully so that’s a relief as they don’t stress as much.

Just been told by my senior manager that I can stay full time until Jul and then hopefully extent by fixed term until Dec 22. That’s at least another 5 months of not having to think about job hunting. Lots of work to do gym later as PT was cancelled. Dg is on a client visit long way from here but good she’s out and about.

Fantastic news about the extended contract.  As you say, less stress so you can live your life.

Glad DG is finding her feet.

Two fence panels gone they were rotten and a ridge tile needs putting back but currently stuck on the roof but so high up we cannot get it down.

Still upcycling tip unit almost there but keep adding more detail which takes ages.

Went to the pictures yesterday and then had dinner at home. Really good feel good feel film called Dog. Booked for next Saturday all Cineworld tickers are £3 due to some promotion.

Oh dear.  How did she find out about the diary?
Well I told her once I found it helpful to write my thoughts down but then she asked if I was still writing in it as she wanted to read he old diaries. I I'm sure I said I wasn't but obviously I am so I think she knows. She also is fully aware how much I love MArtin Lewis and gets lots of his site but I don't think she's twigged the forum thank goodness. We have not real secrets but I would prefer to keep this private.

    Other updates
Went to the pictures yesterday £3 good value for Duke really sweet feel real feel good. We avoided the popcorn and drinks £9 for that and were planning a non diet feast with good Togo from Starbucks and Nero both near the venue. Sadly both got cancelled last minute to Tesco instead and shop done for holiday.

Tried all my summer clothes on before packing god it's depressing can not fit into much but still determined to lose it all again. Lost 1 kilo but not been that good this week. Really do not want to go mad on holiday but obviously will drink etc.

Had a drink when I went out the work Tuesday really nice seeing the 5 that came to London and not bad only had a few drinks on two occasions since new year.

Still upcycling the unit quite bored with it now and also doing a mirror which was DGs Nans it's very sweet but very worn shall we say.

Money wise not great this month £680 for roof repairs getting quotes for the back patios, blown down fence and also need to look at the drive. I've for £8 saved for house stuff so that is the max I can go to but I do want it all actually future proof.

Really want to get started on the garden but difficult when fence needs doing. Still got some pruning done yesterday loads more needed.

Sorry I have not updated since our holiday we had an amazing time and I loved having 10 days and then a whole weekend when I got back. Very relaxed and didn't spend any more than planned. I had 6 long deep tissue massages feel so much better in my hips and feet. Lovely country and people but very poor. Managed not to put any weight on and Dg lost a little even.

Work has been fine and dg has now got a new 3 day a week paid job not far from here only going into the office weekly to start with (travel paid) and then once or twice a month.

Nice for her with a bit of income and she is kind of supervising rather than doing the work she used to do so a good way to keep her skills up but a step up. She can still do self employed cases which is good.

Got my front garden sorted with help from dg. Now have 4raised beds and it looks really nice. Also got the back gardens slabs cleaned by a company I have used before. He had a kind of cancellation and wanted a job for the day which worked out well for me.  He's also agreed to relay our blocked paved drive so we don't have to replace it and made a suggestion for sorting our side it out. Going to save me about £3000 so very happy but needs good hot dry weather so might be a bit of chasing in the summer to get him back. Fence is being fixed tomorrow thanks goodness.

Bought a coffee machine got it in black instead of stainless so saved £200. Still stupid price but god it makes lovely lattes.

Also finished the up cycled unit finally. Room now looks really nice. I'll share a load of pictures in a minute hope you don't mind.
