BTW, I will never, ever use an Excel/VCS car park again.Snakes_Belly said:I think that Chelsea did really well to go to court and fight this out and she should be proud of herself. The experience will not do her any harm. It's a life skill to be able to argue your point.
In all honesty I would draw an line under it, never use the car park again, stay safe and have a good Christmas.

It would be better if you never used any retail outlet which supported them. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2

Actually DPD, where I live most car parks are free all day even my local station. It was on a car park near a mainline station that I was ticketed. I now travel from a different station.D_P_Dance said:It would be better if you never used any retail outlet which supported them.

Yes, but the way things are going for Excel/VCS and being some 80% down, doubt they would go in their own car parksSnakes_Belly said:

Did you know Beamer that SRS charges his own staff for parking on the car park at Excel/VCS? I wonder if they get tickets? Maybe JB has even been ticketed on the staff car park. Perhaps he has has a permit that slipped off or he may have left the site to get a sandwich.beamerguy said:

When things are back to normal and I visit the owner of this car park's main business I may tell him about my experiences with this company without any reference to the OP or their case which would not be appropriate.D_P_Dance said:It would be better if you never used any retail outlet which supported them.
I have in the past given his business a very good write up on Google and I am shocked that he would engage them.

You just couldn't make it up! They have sent her a cheque for £7.40! Either they are just taking the !!!!!! or they have donkey's working in their company. I will be on the phone tomorrow to get the the 10 pence that is outstanding. It states clearly on the order it was £7.50. Do they not understand this!

I hear Mickey Mouse wears an Elms Legal watch ...
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.3 -
lmao! I couldn't help myself and I called on behalf on Chelsea. Gave both reference numbers and they didn't work. The guy on the phone didn't know what to do. I was like well I have a compliment slip from your company on behalf of Excel who owe me money. He asked how much and I said a massive 10 pence. It went quiet. I said 10pence is 10 pence, ya know! Anyway, we got there in the end after being put on hold twice, it's being sorted. They are going to transfer the outstanding. Result! I'm starting to enjoy all of this.
