Hilarious, but dangerous because this guy was giving people legal advice until he was kicked out by the SRA:

Just look at his explanation of his qualifications and why he didn't turn up to his own disciplinary hearing!

If you were to claim against the PPC, perhaps for harassment or  misuse of date, It is likely that another judge would hear the cae..  One should never end up out of pocket following an unsuccessful claim imo.

so not much sign that judges are sick of absurd cases yet, if they only award £7.50 to a successful defendant.  Temporary work is available to most people, you'd think he could at least award a few hours at min wage.
I think the large private car parks can be used in a sort of risk-free way, especially the free ones at retail parks, if you do check terms .  I chose not to return to a Retail Park for a second visit yesterday, because of the 'double dip' error or scam and the pain it could cause.

We see some odd costs and it's down to the judge.  The courts will be fed up with pointless claims and they show that by dismissing cases.  I guess they cannot be seen to serve a standard amount as the PPC's would claim it's a penalty
The most important part is a WIN.

Double dipping is a problem with ANPR.    You did not wish to go back and you are right.
If more people, like you, were to contact the CEO of a retailer saying why you did not return and that you shopped elsewhere, it might make them think

  • I think that Chelsea did really well to go to court and fight this out and she should be proud of herself. The experience will not do her any harm. It's a life skill to be able to argue your point.

In all honesty I would draw an line under it, never use the car park again, stay safe and have a good Christmas.
