Ditty, it might be worth looking on freecycle or similar for a bed? Or a cheap one on local FB selling site? I think the dark, wet weather is getting us all down!

On freecycle or whatever your local thing is called, people give things away for free. Worth having a look. We have a freecycle and a recycle-it group in our little town.
  • The weekend has been quite spend-y unfortunately, but not on tat, so that's something. Some was joint account stuff (all child things come from there) and we ttrated ourselves to coffee out from the joint as well. I know I ought to be practising going without, but after five days of nothing but sleep, drive, work, drive, sleep, it's very hard not to crack at the weekend!

    Done today:
    Bought child gloves and hat
Got myself a hat as it was BOGOF at mountain warehouse
Moved money from joint to cover that plus cafe trip
Sorted seven bags of clothes toys etc to go to school Bags2school this week
Redid my Konmari of my bedside drawer and binned out if date makeup etc, and now I can see I have a ton of stuff to use up
All meals from stores this weekend
Had brussels for lunch, stir fry, they needed using up!
Chatted to DD about money, how various things work.
Will make pack lunch for work tomorrow, later

Am doing ok except lapses for cafe treats. Total cost this weekend (albeit transferred from joint) is £20. On my own would have been less as I have willpower, but not when with DD.

Need to work on avoidance of cafe treats. Or do I? If I never leave the house exceot to work I t hi I will be him to g for the credit card quite who joy. How do I stay in track?

CLF I feel your pain re vertigo, I've had mystery dizziness for four years, badly for two. My ENT pronounced no issues last week, ditto other investigations, leaving just my eyes to be checked out. Good to know nothing is serious for you. Like you I must rest, eat properly etc, but even though I'm trying to do less, am so tired my vertigo is ugh today.

I hope it clears up for you. If you find a magic cure let me know!
