Morning all
Nice lie in this morning but now I need to get moving. We had a great day out yesterday and managed to do the food shop on the way back so at least that’s done. So far I have...
Stripped the bedding and its swishing in the machine
Litter trays emptied, washed, dried and refilled
Breakfast eaten
Ok so I’ve made a start, next I need to shower and dress and then start tackling the house.
Have a good day all x0 -
Morning
When you are sane enough to know you are crazy thinking but carry on anywayI spent most of yesterday cyber-hunting info on a totally unobtainable man that I've never met. It'll be some sort of reaction to all the excitement and adrenaline of going to the concert on Tuesday - no wonder I rarely go out.... it sends my delicately- balanced -at- the -best- of -times brain chemistry swishing
So, yesterday was a no-starter. Distraction will be the key word for today and the coming days - got to give those dopamine levels a chance to re-balance. (I know all the theory but unfortunately that doesn't stop me crushing)
I'm washed and dressed and my bed is made. I need to eat and then I'm going over to the farm shop which sells posh stuff to buy L's Christmas present as she has suggested that we swap presents when we meet for lunch tomorrow  Irony is that we are meeting at the farm shop which sells posh stuffOh to be organised. I have a fair idea of what I want to buy her - and I'll call at Mr C00p on the way home to buy the 'traditional' box of biscuits to share with her OH. L mentioned her OH's favourite biscuits recently so I'm going to buy him some and wrap them separately as a little surprise extra.
I'll get them wrapped this afti after lunch with dad. Then make my list for shopping with friends tomorrow at Mr A - before meeting L for lunch.
Right - heating on, curtains open, breakfast and then out. I can do that.
I will fly today. I will fly today - where are my ruby slippers....

I'm back
Not only have I bought L's Christmas present but I bought her birthday present too (8th January). And breathe... pressure is now off
I've also fed the birds and put out cardboard, papers and some cans for recycling.
DS's dad will be here soon for coffee and (he doesn't know it yet) a mince pie. (Spotted at Mr C00p's and sort of jumped in to my basket)

Hi friends,
Loads done this weekend on the flying front, but still loads to do. I'm on a batch cooking mission which is creating half the mess!
Lazy, very beige lunch being eaten by us all to use up some freezer odds and ends. WM just done, that will need to go over the airer.
YL - I so wish I was nearer so I could come for a natter and a glass of wine. Thinking of you and DS lovely lady xxx0 -
Afternoon all
I’m all caught up! I have... (with help from DH)
Put laundry on to airer
Put load in ready to wash tomorrow
Hoovered and dusted whole house including stairs
Wiped all woodwork on stairs
Deep cleaned the lounge while DH was here to help move the furniture
All rubbish and recycling put out
Bins washed and disinfected
Cleaned kitchen, wiped surfaces and fronts of cabinets
Cleaned the oven before it gets too bad. Feeling quite virtuous as it wasn’t done that long ago!
Scrubbed bathroom and downstairs loo
Mopped wooden floors downstairs and kitchen floor
Just going to have some lunch and then sit for a couple of hours, I have a knitted Christmas gift to get on with and a new book waiting to be started so that is my afternoon sorted. Supper is beef in red wine casserole which I made in a batch a few weeks back. It’s defrosting so DH will prep some veg and spuds to go with it. Looking forward to that!
Have a lovely afternoon all. Hugs to those in need xx0 -
I have properly scrubbed the living room floor. It took an hour and I'm now exhausted. Also have washing on the go and popped to the shop. Dailies are done.
I think the afternoon could turn into a read a book afternoon.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Finally finished Christmas card order. That's about 140 separate orders processed.
Shoes polished ready for work. Did DS's boots too cos I'm nice.
Ironing up to date.
Just munching an apple and slurping a coffee then I am on a rehome mission because I haven't been following the Valli mantra (Don't put it down, put it away).
Orchids watered. Am bringing mum's here too, soon, for some TLC. I seem to have a knack with them.
Bunny hutch cleaned; run swept. DW emptied, pots washed, bunnies cuddled.
Phone topped up.
Note to self. Straw needed.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
